Rexall

We moved into the area last August. Up until now, I would have given this Rexall five stars. Amelia, for example, is a friendly, efficient, and welcoming pharmacist. Unfortunately my experience today has changed my view of the pharmacy department. I entered the store with the sole purpose of buying sunscreen. Sunscreen is important to me as I have had skin cancer; the scar on my left cheek proves it. Having not purchased sunscreen before in this store, I couldn't find it.. I approached an older woman working in the pharmacy, excused myself and asked her politely which aisle contained sunscreen. Instead of answering my query politely, she raised her voice and yelled at me, I don't know! Ask her!" (as she pointed to a worker in another aisle). As I walked away

Although friendly, the pharmacists here lack attention to detail and have consistently made mistakes or oversights in their explanation of my prescriptions’ risks, side effects, and instructions (eg when and how often I should take a medication, how it can be combined with other meds or food, etc). In some cases, they directly contradicted my doctor’s instructions on the prescription itself and when I asked for clarification, they just shrugged.I’ve lost confidence in the team at this location and will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere.

Bought 2 Avene sunscreens that's 38plus tax each for my children only to find out from their teachers that they are expiring in 1 months...these products should not be on the shelves or at least they should be discounted. Poor product/shelve management.

I came to this pharmacy to get a prescription but changed my mind quickly after encountering an extremely rude customer service. I don’t care if the location is understaffed (I was the only customer at the time by the way)- it is not the reason to be rude to the customers. I went to the shoppers nearby and had an entirely opposite (positive) experience.

SALES are so MISLEADING! One star for polite staff. They apologized. BUT the concealer for 7$ on SALE is not 7$ on checkout. Turns out that it's 7$ for THE DARKEST colour of the collection. What?! SECOND: the hair mask - on SALE for 13$ - on checkout it's 15$! + tax of course. SO MISLEADING! Never again going to visit this store. I didn't take a picture of it. But I will take and attach it here soon. Horrible.

I recently moved in to this area, and usually work for night shifts. This Rexall, emphasising that open til late" (til 10pm)

I purchased sugar wax only to find that the strips were missing. Despite their policy of accepting returns or exchanges within 30 days, the manager refused to honor it and insinuated that I had already used the strips. This is unacceptable and insulting. I am an honest customer and I deserve to be treated with respect. I will not be shopping at Rexall again and I will be sure to let others know of my terrible experience.

Yesterday, in an emergency situation (serious disease), I had to order some medicines through Uber from this pharmacy. 2 minutes after placing my order, I realized they have removed the medicines that I needed the most and just sending me the rest of my order which meant their list of available medicines, was wrong and misleading! Anyways, I quickly cancelled the order and interestingly and simultaneously, I received a notification on Uber that the pharmacy has also cancelled my order because they cannot fulfill it. It made sense, but strangely I realized today that they have charged me for $15.80 for this cancellation!! Wow! First misleading and wrong advertisement on Uber and second charging me for your fault, error and an unfulfilled order?! I’m trying so hard not to mention the name of what this pharmacy did. I hope it’s just a technical glitch, otherwise huge shame for a healthcare provider!

Good location. Lights are bright during evening hours. They open at 8am and closes at 10pm every day.

I made the switch from Shoppers Drug Mart at 390 Queens Quay to Rexall and I'm so glad I did! The reviews about Amelia and Aysha at the pharmacy here are spot on - they're fantastic. Both of them take care of my prescriptions without any issues and are always friendly, understanding, and empathetic. They're the epitome of what pharmacists should be. They're so great that I even recommended them to my family and switched all of our prescriptions to this pharmacy.Whenever I call with concerns, someone actually picks up the phone! It's amazing. If either Amelia or Aysha were to ever leave this Rexall, I'd follow them to their next location.The pharmacy staff here are much more attentive than at Shoppers Drug Mart. Just a couple of side notes: Rexall only offers delivery service on weekdays (Mon-Fri) and their couriers can't be tracked, so the estimated arrival time is always a bit of a guess.I want to give a big thank you to Amelia and Aysha for always going above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of.
