I have received brow lamination, lip blushing, as well as nano brow at The Lash Bar. I have been so unbelievably happy for all experiences. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted by their incredibly kind staff that ensure you are comfortable. They are extremely well educated on all of the services and do an amazing good in answering any questions you have. My technician is Lauren. She is extremely talented. Her work compares to no other. Lauren's attention to detail as well as experienced makes any service she accomplishes to be nothing but perfect. The Lash Bar is the only place I trust. Their reputation and work sets them apart from anywhere else. The quality in their products and the exceptional training that all staff members have show through their work. I always walk out of appointments with a huge smile on my face. I highly recommend going to The Lash Bar. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I got my Nano brows done with Lauren and it was the best decision I could make! Lauren has many, many years of experience with permanent make up. She is very professional, extremely talented and is someone you can trust 100%. As soon as she saw may face shape/skin color, she already knew what brows would work best for me. I went to the appointment with photos to show her of what I wanted but I found that I didn't even need to do that with her. Lauren said that her goal was to make me look 10 years younger and she did! I love my brows now and I don't even know how I lived with my previous brows all this time ;) I would only trust Lauren and go to her for my brows, as she is a true expert! I could not be happier with my brows and the way they positively changed my whole look:) Thank you Lauren!!!

I was hoping for a manager to call me back and Resolve the situation before I had to write a review, but sadly, even after leaving a voicemail, no one has called me back. I’ve gone to this place for a long time now and have referrer several other clients and have always been thrilled with my lash lift and tint. The unfortunate part about this place is that there is so much turnover you don’t get a consistent technician. I made the choice this time to get lash extensions and had a technician that was clearly very new and just starting out. She was extremely lovely and kind and walked through the entire process and even accommodated me when I called running late. However, it took over three hours for a full classic set and I still had to ask for touchups before I left. I will say the first time I did receive the service the lashes looked great. I booked in for a three week fill with the same girl, as there was only one person to book, and again took nearly 3 hours for a fill. The service was only intended to be two hours, and when I mentioned to the technician that I had other appointments to attend to that day after 2+ hours her response was- “I’ll just finish up now. It’s not perfect but you can come back next week”. I explained to her I don’t have time to come back next week as I have two young kids I paid and booked my time for that day . As a result of going over, I received a parking ticket which I never would have gone should the service been kept to the time (even paid for 45 min LONGER).I have had many lash extensions in my life and never has it taken this long. Not to mention, there was a new adhesive being used which severely infected my eye for days and all the lashes fell off within a week. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy as I paid for lashes and lasted 2-3 days max. I realize new people need to start somewhere, but usually they offer a lower rate, and it is expected that they might take longer and at very least communicated clearly they are new. As a result of my poor experience and zero communication back from the studio owner I will be taking my service elsewhere unless someone can make this right.

Had a nanobrow touch up recently and having been here 3x over the past 1.5yrs now, I highly recommend the owner Lauren and this salon to get any brows or lashes done. I previously had micro blading on my brows by supposedly one of the best tattoo artists in Vancouver which turned color to red (!) Lauren was able to lift some of the color out and then correct with a natural looking color. Due to covid I wasn’t able to get my touch up for a year, and the color lasted over this year and did not fade nor change.In addition, the space is clean, everyone is properly masked, and covid infection control is followed. you are well distanced when you come in, I was the only one in the waiting room. Of note I am a hospital healthcare professional. Very professional and safe, highly recommend!!

I debated writing this but I figured I should in case anyone else has the issues I had after getting an eyelash lift and tint.I had my lashes done back in November. 4 days after having them done I woke up with pink eye. I thought it was strange since I haven't had pink eye since I was a kid. I used Polysporin drops and it cleared. Another 2 weeks later I had pink eye again. I asked my friend who is a nurse and she told me that it is chemical induced Blepharitis (pink eye from having them lifted).When I called lash bar to ask if there was a way to get this chemical off my lashes they said no and that it can't cause pink eye. It 100% can cause pink eye. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything, just some sort of solution or help. I am very aware that with any beauty procedure there can always be a complication but their response was just flat out no and it's impossible. They did however offer for me to go in for another lash lift since I said they were all crooked. Not sure how doing it again would help me in any way whatsoever other than create more infections and lose more lashes...?!?!Now, the only way I can keep the constant infections from my eyes is by washing them with Johnson's baby shampoo twice a day and putting Vaseline on the lash brush so they can get some sort of moisture and untangle them.It's been weeks since I had them done and my lashes are crooked, broken, and have chunks missing. I can't even wear mascara. Be aware there can ALWAYS be complications from any procedure you do and don't expect any help from the lash bar.

I have been trusting The Lash Bar with my eyelash extensions for several years now. I see Pauline every 3 weeks and am met with professionalism every single time. I wanted natural looking extensions and was concerned with ensuring they would not damage my natural lashes. The Lash Bar listened and delivered. The staff (from the front desk to technicians and Lauren, the owner) are always friendly + courteous. Best lash extensions in the city!!

I'm not sure what happened to this place, but it's not the same anymore. As others have commented, the technicians are all junior and dont seem to care for repeat customers. I've had my lash lift/tint appointment cancelled twice now day of (literally an hour before my appointment I would get an email that it was canceled). I would call reception to confirm and it was true. With no reason what so ever and attitude too, no sincerity, as if I was the one that canceled. I got my nano brows/magic shadow done by Shiren a few years ago and the moment the scab came off they were blurry and blueish grey and not natural looking at all. So much thicker than my natural brow too. Years later and I'm still filling in my brows to cover it up. Lauren offered to fix the colour using a camouflage technique (however, the thicker shape would still remain, so I opted not to after session). Because of Lauren and her customer service, I decided to come back (not for my brows) but for the lash lift. The technicians used to be great. Rebecca and Adriana were amazing. Now if feels like it's run by a bunch of kids.

I got a multitude of services done here, and they were amazing every time. Lash lift & tint, brow lamination, brow henna, microblading. All I was super happy with! The techs make sure that you get the look that you want, would deff recommend to a friend!

Very weird that I have to explain the obvious. I either put 5 stars or do not review at all.My appointment was so unimportant that you don’t even know that I showed up, but a little late, and a receptionist said the girl already left before my appointment was over.Nobody had a time to call and say that the girl left and is not coming back. And receptionist knew that I am about to leave for vacation on Monday.In addition, nobody even cared to notify me about the construction in front, and that I have to drive around looking for a spot and walk after.Besides, the last time some other girl tinted my eyebrows said that I have very uneven brows that’s why it turned out shaped different. First time in my life I heard that kind of excuse!

As others have shared, don't waste your time with this place. They really don't care about keeping repeat customers , are unreliable , will constantly attempt to reschedule your appointments (especially if you book a Saturday appointment) and when you have a valid reason to reschedule , they are extremely uncompromising and unwilling to work with you and will charge you for services they never delivered on . I too about a month ago tried out one of their new technicians she did a lovely job but like the other user posted , took over 3 hours to complete my lash set ... they really aren't considerate of your time. I've been patient with this business , for the last year solely due to their previous owner, but my last interaction regarding my need to reschedule an appointment was the final straw for me ... I will be taking my business elsewhere... 8 months ago they had an owner who was extremely customer focused and cared.... they have now sold the busines and the new ownership does not care about calling back or following up with disgruntled customers. I'm still waiting on a call back. Save your money and time and your peace......
