We had a very positive experience using Monk Carpentry for our apartment renovation. We received reliable and professional service and he beat our expectations for timeframe! We are so happy we chose Kalyn for our project and love the final outcome . He was very easy to work with and we highly recommend him for those projects you are putting off or wanting to get done! Our only regret is not calling him sooner!

I had wood paneling done to my feature wall and I am extremely impressed with the work. It is very clean and done perfect. The job was done in the time frame I was quoted, on time, and cleaned up after himself. I will be calling for future jobs!

Monk Carpentry did a roof renovation for me. He does high end work and really cares about the end product not just functioning properly, but also looking great. When they were done they cleaned up everything completely. It was a pleasure to have them work for us and I look forward to having them for other projects in the future.

Monk Carpentry we will have back, actually just booked him again to fix a screen door damaged by those recent wind gusts. We previously booked him for a renovation on our bathroom and office with a custom “wall to wall” desk that we couldn’t be happier with, a feature wall of paneling floor to ceiling, installation of trim and wainscoting addition in the bathroom. Kalyn arrived when he said he would. Despite our crooked wall he finished the projects when he said he would and did it beautifully. Reliable and friendly and fair price for custom work, upgrades and fix-it’s. Highly recommend.

There are three things we value in working with a contractor: Honesty, Dependability, Quality work at a fair price. In all three areas we found excellence. We had work to do on our fence. Another contractor wanted to replace the fence, Mr Monk felt that wasn’t necessary. In addition he came up with an excellent solution saving us money. He also carried out work in our kitchen leaving my wife and I very pleased with the outcome. I have called him to book additional work we will require when the weather improves. Yes, we are very pleased with Monk Contracting!
