Picked one of these up expecting the usual fluffy articles as excuses for selling ads that you see so often in regional independent magazines. So pleasantly surprised!!! What a great mix of coverage of Canadian national and (gasp!) local artists and musicians and entertainment. From London to Windsor to Sarnia, this magazine has its finger on the pulse of an area that really under-sells itself sometimes for music and culture. Bravo for all the effort it must take. If you want to know what's going on in Southwestern Ontario. If you want the lowdown on the local music scene. If you're wondering which national act is coming soon, you want 519 magazine. I could not be more impressed. And now I find out they have a website with a digital version of the magazine and an entertainment schedule with literally thousands of entries. We needed this.
