Tried the claypot rice this time and would highly recommend. Had to go with no spice since I had to share with my niece. Each order comes with a bowl of soup and a container of pickled beans.Love that the rice wasn’t overly oily from the toppings and there was lots of crispy rice on the bottom. I added a bit of soup to it after and finished it off.We went during lunch and they were busy but it still only took 20mins. They do ask you to bring the claypot back to them once you’re done.

The food was made to order, I got the chicken and pork rib claypot rice, which came with a bowl of soup and sauce. The rice was over cooked and turned black at the bottom and a layer of rice was stuck on the pot, other than that everything else was fine. The meat was tender and the service was good.

We arrived at 11:05 and there were already people ahead of us in line. We ordered the noodle with signature broth, sweet potato noodles and pork intestines. We also ordered the Cantonese style clay pot rice. They told us it would take around 15-20 minutes. They asked if we wanted the noodles and rice out at the same time and we said yes.It took around 30 minutes for the rice to be ready so if you are in a rush please come early because afterwards I heard them telling people it would take around an hour for the rice. They have a limited amount of stoves so it takes longer for the rice to be ready. The noodles were pretty delicious and addicting. They are very generous with the toppings and the noodles. Lots of intestines inside and I didn't feel super thirsty after eating it. I love the salty marinated veggies inside. Everything goes so well together. Next time I will try the sweet and sour soup base with potato noodles instead. The Cantonese clay pot rice was also delicious. The rice was well cooked. Each grain was separate from each other and it had a good amount of crispiness on the bottom. They are also very generous with the sausage and marinated dried duck. Next time I would try the spicy Sichuan style one or the chicken one because it looked good when they were making it.I would definitely come back!

At Ajea Noodle, inside Yaohan Centre foodcourt, I had their Szechuan version of chicken and sausage rice pot for the first time. It was topped with hot chili pepper flakes and came with a side of pickled veggies along with the usual side of soya sauce and a bowl of yummy soup. It all went together so well even though my mouth burned a bit; it was nose-blowing good! And it was temperature hot to the last bite with a crispy rice bottom, just the way I like it. The complimentary soup was probably vegetable-base…so good…I should have asked what it was. It was 30-minute wait for this fresh pot of rice, but worth the wait. The chef was friendly and interested in how I liked his food when I went back to take photos. The cashier was patient with me when, at the start, I couldn’t decide on noodles or rice. I’d definitely return.

Delicious soup! I had the traditional noodle but it would have been better if I had a noodle. Will definitely come back and try again!

I had the chicken bacon egg clay pot rice dish, and it cost me $15. I like how the stove is up front, so you can watch them prepare the food. No complaints at all with the food and service. I visited on a Saturday at noon. As expected, it was quite busy, but I had no issues finding a table. It takes 20 minutes to cook the dish in general, and I didn't wait any longer. They also specialize in szechuan noodle dishes.

Bang for your buck. The food quality is great, didn’t expect such amazing food from a food court. For 18 dollars, you get a big portion of clay pot rice+meats, a soup, and a veggie on the side. Although there’s quite a bit of a wait for food since so many people are in line for their meals. 10/10 would come back again.

Nestled in the bustling Yaohan Centre mall lies Ajea Noodle, a hidden gem that serves up some of the most satisfying and flavorful dishes you'll find in Vancouver. While it may seem unassuming from the outside, Ajea Noodle's offerings are far from ordinary, and the dining experience is well worth a visit. The menu boasts an array of mouth-watering dishes, but the stars of our meal were the Chicken & Cantonese Sausage Rice served in a clay pot and the Hot and Sour Noodles with chickpeas and ribs. Each dish was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The clay pot rice was accompanied by a side of pickled veggies, soya sauce, and a bowl of delicious soup, while the noodles had the option to add an extra egg for just $1.What truly sets Ajea Noodle apart is their attention to detail and the quality of their ingredients. From the homemade bacon available in both Cantonese-style and Sichuan-style, to the tender marinated chicken ribs, each dish is crafted with care and expertise. The crispy clay pot rice, fragrant sausage, and chickpeas create a harmonious combination that's hard to resist. It's no wonder that customers claim this is the best clay pot rice in Vancouver!Despite the restaurant's popularity, and being there right at lunch time, the wait time for our food was reasonable, clocking in at around 20-25 minutes. Just be sure not to wander too far from the restaurant, as the food might arrive faster than expected.Ajea Noodle proves that sometimes, the best culinary experiences can be found in the most unexpected places. So, if you find yourself craving a simple, honest, and satisfying meal, Ajea Noodle is the place to be.

A very popular noodle place. Good taste, reasonable price, cash only.Got 酸辣土豆粉 sweet and sour potato boodles and 重庆小面全家福 Chongqing noodles. Both are quite good. The noodles are not soft ones or instant noodles. Enough if not generous portions. Pork ribs are great (add ons). One can choose spicy levels, ranging from no spice to extra spicy(6 levels!), which is great. The lines are long though - too popular. The front desk also needs to take phone orders which prolongs the wait time as well. I would recommend to preorder then pick up later. Otherwise the wait time could be around 20 mins if busy.
