My boyfriend bought me a beautiful diamond ring for Christmas last year. In this one year, I've lost the same diamond 3 times. Every time, they just send it to be repaired. Got it back a couple of days ago, and realized that the diamond was put back, but the ring was not round anymore and that it looked as if it was just stuck back on with glue. I told the woman and she looked at it with her little magnifying lens to tell me that there's nothing wrong with it if you look at it with her lens. I explained that just looking at the ring with my bare eye I can see that the ring looks repaired and that the diamond is deeper in that the other ones and that I will not walk around with a lens to show off my ring. She got annoyed and simply answered that she can resend it to be repaired AGAIN. I feel that after losing the same diamond 3 times in the same year, they would offer a new ring or a discount on another one. Instead, they just sent it for repair and make us wait a couple of weeks hoping that this time the SAME diamond will stay on.Went back again to pick it up and the ring was still not round. Told the woman again and she now sent it to her manager. This happened one month ago and I still don’t have my ring. Since I got it, it’s been sent for a total waiting time of 6 months (3-4 weeks per time).
