EJ Mower

Anyone else have this experience? Bring something in for repair, told it can't be repaired, get offered a $50 discount on a new tool, then see the same 'unrepairable' tool for sale a few weeks later? Take your repair business elsewhere. Posting for a friend.

Tried to buy a used snowblower from this place. Paid for it and took outside to try it out. Didn’t work! Was told I could wait for the needed repairs or get a refund. I needed a snow blower right away so chose the refund. Then was told that they couldn’t refund my money from their debit machine, would a e-transfer be ok? I agreed. Not having heard from them in almost a week! I had to drive back into Calgary to talk with someone at the store (no one answered my multiple calls to all the different dept) 40 mins later, a few phone calls to accounting, and I finally got my refund. This was a total waste of my time and gas! I will not be shopping here again or recommend them to anyone!!!

Needed tune-up stuff for my Lawn-Boy. They had everything in stock, and prices were same as online sellers. Very happy with the quick one stop shop. I also had a great time talking chainsaws with the salesman (sorry forgot his name) and was very impressed with his encyclopedic knowledge of chainsaws. I would definitely trust these guys with anything that needs servicing.

After an initial disappointment with EJ Mower, Jill, the area manager reached out to me and asked if they could make this right.The area manager said if I drop off the Stihl snow blower they would take a look and not charge me for labour, just parts.Jill, the area manager did say that they would come by and pick up the snow blower, very nice of them, but I said that was not necessary.I dropped off the snow blower on Saturday, received a call on Monday from Eric, I think he is the tech manager. Eric said the machine was ready for pickup. Eric also said the machine would benefit from being serviced, I said go ahead.Service included New air filter, new fuel filter, new spark plug,a clean up and carb adjustment.EJ Mower charged me for the parts and no labour as promised,I picked the machine up the following day. Now the snow blower is running well. (The issue was a piece of carbon holding the exhaust port open).I picked up a couple of parts for my grass/edge trimmer while I was there.All in all - Kudos to EJ Mower, they did come through for me and made it right.Thank you Jill, Thank you Eric.

I had some repair concerns and Eric at EJ Mower was wonderful. Courteous, professional, honest and understanding! He went to bat to get my mower repaired on an expedited basis. I cannot say enough about how I was taken care of!!!! Thank you!

Went into Ej with the idea I needed a 2 stage snow blower. After discussing with Eric, he steered me toward a less expensive single stage for my needs. The machine works amazingly well, thanks Eric, you don't get this kind of sales knowledge at any big box stores.

Just reading the reviews and come to learn that EJ’s is not owned be the original ownership. To bad. But it answers a question about the decline in service levels.

Took our Craftsman lawn mower in for repair and was told it would take 2 weeks. We would call them and ask if the mower repair was done, never got a call from them to give us an update. Four weeks later it still was not done but told us we would get a 10% discount. When the repair was finally completed, they gave us 50% off of the labour.

As a female in a male dominated industry , staff members had the ability to demonstrate to me what I needed to know. I left with the confidence knowledge desired . Above and beyond expectations.
