She had my sewing machine for 6 months and at the end, she could not fix it. She sent me around for a part that needed to be replaced and wasn’t needed suddenly when I received it. She’s very lovely and tired her best. Unfortunately, I brought it somewhere else and they fixed it within a week. I’m glad this ordeal is over!

Not sure what to think. I took my machine in as the feed dog would not raise. She looked at it and said it probably needed a tune up. I said ok and told it would be ready for pick up in approx. a week. I followed up after a week and was told a gear was broken and she needed to order the part. I followed up again after another 10 days or so and was told she was having trouble getting the broken gear off as there was no lubrication at all in the gears. Meanwhile she had offered to sell me another used machine, but when it turned out to be not working properly, she then offered to sell me a different used machine. I opted to have my machine fixed. Finally after another week or so, she called to say that my machine was unfixable. She had put a new gear on it; however, she said it made a horrible, loud clunking noise. Again she offered to sell me a used machine. I was considering that option but later called to say (via voice mail) that I decided to buy a new one and that I would pick up my old machine. (I was actually thinking it might be salvaged if someone else had a look at it.) The next message I had from her was that she had recovered the new gear and then given my machine to the scrap yard as it was junk. I remain skeptical that a machine which still ran well, except for the feed dog, ended up in the scrap yard.

My experience was the worst. Took almost 2 weeks for them to figure out that I had left them an industrial machine to work on. They don't do that. The woman of the house said it was because there were 7 people at the door when I dropped of my machine. Wrong! One woman rushed in while I was there and picked up her machine. They failed to return phone calls. When I asked them to send, take or deliver my machine to another location (in Halifax) the man of the house refused, saying he didn't want to get involved". Needless to say I offered to pay for this service. "Service" seems not to be in their vocabulary. On a positive note

Would not recommend at all. Very bad experience. Took my machine in on March 12 for a tension adjustment. She said It needed a tune-up Big mistake she put too much oil on it and the machine would not work at all. Took it back. She had a part backwards and still would not work. Left it again 2 weeks later she called saying working beautifully. When. In picked it up only to get home and no foot petal. When. In next day and she gave me a foot petal which was not mine sayi ng she did not know where mine was but this would work. Only to get home and discover machine still was not working not evenNeedle moving. Called back and she meet me halfway. I live 40 miles out of town. She took it to another repairman and today May 26 I picked it up and made sure it was working. Only to be told that IOwed her $40 for this repair which she had previously acknowledged. To whichShe grabbed the receipt ripped it up as I was going out the dooroShe said do notCome back. To which I replied no worry I Would not. Very Unprofessional
