Air Plus Hair Salon at Metrotown

First time here. I had Tracy to cut and dye my hair. She was absolutely lovely, kind and professional. The issue was the price of the coloring. I was quoted $190 to dye my hair only because I have thick hair. This is the first place that charged me based on the amount of hair more so than the length. I have about one inch past my shoulder. My hair was thinned out before dyeing it too. I really appreciated Tracy but I will not return.

Went in summer 2022 . Gave the lady a reference of a cute curtain bangs with a lil fringe. She went full send. No gradual cuts because first cut was an inch above my eyebrows. Came out looking like Jim Carrey from dumb and dumber. When I mentioned it was too short, lady said my hair was oily and proceeded to wash and blow dried it. And lo and behold. It got even shorter. Needed a moment at a stairwell to recover after that awful experience. It was so bad. I'd give it a zero but sadly, that's not possible so I give it a one.

Great experience！I highly recommend Ariel! The color was exactly what I wanted, and after three bleaches, my hair stayed in a good condition. Even after two weeks, it was still catching eyes on the street.

My valentine and I spontaneously decided to get haircuts, and Air Plus got us for walk-ins. I showed my stylist Amber what I wanted, and we discussed lengths/bangs. The entire experience was great and I hadn't had a professional haircut in years. I think I may have finally found a go to salon! The salon was pretty busy, but it was very clear everyone was enjoying their time and happy with the results.Thank you Amber and team!

I was impulsive, walk by, and went straight in. I got Joy, as my stylist. I requested for a root perm. She examined my hair and advised me not to do it at all due to the damage it will cause for my hair since it is thin. The day before, I chopped my waist length hair to my shoulders from impulse so I showed her some pictures from google with short hair styles, which won’t work either since the models had thicker and stronger hair. So we decided to fix my chopped hair.The shampoo she used smelled SOOO GOOOD!!!During the cutting process, it was quiet… Joy was very focused so I didn’t want to say anything and just observed. She didn’t rush and took her time with every part of my hair. After the cut and styling, I have never imagined my hair could or would ever look this great short. I wish I took pictures to show everyone, but due to mental and physical health, this review is actually a month+ late… anyways, thank you again Joy, I’m so glad I got my hair cut from you!!☺️

I had great experience with Wanda ! I been only trust one and only one hair stylist in the States, since moving here I only able to flight back to the States to get my haircut once in a year. So today I decided to give it a try ! I came in and the receptionist asked if I have any preferable stylist ? I was like …. Nope ! Just surprise me :) … and yes! Wanda really surprised me wt her skill. Got many compliments on my new haircut

I'm absolutely thrilled with how Effie transformed my hair yesterday! She really took the time to listen to how I wanted the haircut and recommended a hair color that perfectly complemented my skin tone. She was patient and explained every step of the process, making sure I was completely happy with her recomemendation before moving forward.She gave me a haircut that I absolutely love. Her attention to detail and expertise really shone through in her work. I don't usually do these reviews but My friend's very recent experience was very bad here. The service is terrible. One of the hair dresser messed up her hair really bad. She got a hair cut from ARIEL on her birthday. She styled it really nice. But when we got home ,she noticed that her hair aren't even from the front to the back. She called them and one of the lady said she can come anytime and they will fix it. So my friend was like okay, she will come after her birthday. So everything was settled. My friend called them and they said their policy stands for 7 days only. That they can't fix her hair anymore. This was such a lame excuse. you guys are just ripping money off of your customers. I don't recommend this place at all. We don't pay you to mess up our hair and if you do just take the responsibility to fix them and thats what we call CUSTOMER SERVICE my dear. Garbage place. Never going back there again.

My boyfriend and I have been seeing Zack at Air Plus for at least 3 years now and we always walk out of the salon so happy with our hair! Zack is a true master of his craft and it is wonderful to watch him work. My boyfriend never saw the point of paying for haircuts (he used to just buzz his head) until he experienced what Zack is capable of. Now he loves his hair and takes better care of it than I do haha. Thank you Zack for boosting our confidence with the perfect cut every time. PS- HE GIVES THE BEST HEAD MASSAGES EVER.

I got my hair coloured here with Zack and I love it so much ❤️❤️❤️ I’d never found a salon that I’m fully satisfied before, and the whole experience with Zack is way beyond perfect. He’s super kind and professional and definitely thoughtful. He patiently and carefully goes through all the process with me before he starts, and this gives me a good start. He takes in all my hair conditions into consideration and provides the best suggestions ever. The end result is awesome and my hair is gorgeous! Highly recommend Zack!
