Bulkley Valley Credit Union

I moved to this area last year and went to the Credit Union today to open an account. I was there as the door opened and was the first ''client' to see a teller. To my very simple request (i would like to open a simple account) the teller went off for a minute and when she returned , she asked if i had an appointment??? I answered 'no' and asked if its a problem to open an account?? Off she went again only to return and ask me if i could come back tomorrow??? Again 'No'.. Off one last time to return with ''can I return in an hour''? The last NO for me .I took my business down the road to the Royal and was treated the exact opposite, I had an account set up in minutes and the staff could not have been more courteous or efficient!As i have dealt with credit unions for over two decades I was looking forward to doing business with the Bulkley Valley Credit Union but after this interaction , not a chance..G.
