Village Gym Blackpool

This place is getting better and better, staff regularly cleaning showers and changing rooms. Nice relaxing piped music in changing rooms. Could do.with more or even one gym room staff on hand to answer any questions about how to use the equipment in the gym. Wellbeing checks for gym members which help keep you on track. Good job

Went to join up and was dealt with by Nathan. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the various offers. What a lovely charming man clearly passionate about the job.Used the well equipped gym and had a swim the lovely warm pool .

Went in for the first time yesterday around 15:45, I was greeted kindly by the two ladies at the reception who kindly directed me to the swimming pool, there I was greeted by an excellent receptionist, who detailed everything I needed to know from the locker bands to directions to get there, she was very professional, smiling and very sweet, i had brought my nephew with me and she had included him in conversation and informed him of everything he needed to know as well, it was very reassuring for me to know we was in safe hands, customer service is something I always pay attention to and here, there wasn't a single flaw, in terms of the actual facilities itself, amazing, indoor pool and outdoor pool beautiful, a few things that may make the experience more enhanced, some better signage for directions, power wash and deweed by the outdoor pool (I know it's not the top of priorities but little things make the difference), fix the panelling on the outdoor sauna, an outdoor water fountain, I also noticed the beautiful nature by the outdoor pools, I think an opaque fencing could really enhance the experience, overall the experience was fantastic, excellent service, excellent facilities, I would recommend it to anyone in the area, I would like to give special thanks to the two brunettes at the reception and the blonde girl at the swimming reception, it was a great experience :)

Really great place, visited to use swimming pools and it was fantastic, great temperature water, indoor and outdoor pools, clean changing area, absolutely worth the price

Gym itself is small but the swimming pool shower steam room and jacuzzi is good

We stayed in the hotel while visiting a friend for her birthday one weekend. Good location and easy enough to get to. It’s a very popular venue, so be mindful of the amount of footfall and traffic, it’s also next to a zoo (you can hear the animals) and has a golf course.It’s reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful but the rooms are dated (having stayed in on in Leeds you notice the difference).The gym was great the next morning, including the pool facilities, Sauna, stream room and jacuzzi. One thing they can improve on here is the lifeguard equipment, including the position. They had one lifeguard sat on a plastic chair, in between the indoor and outdoor pool (with the door open). They were also on their phone most of the time too!Breakfast was below average, very chaotic and hard to get a full plate from the buffet as they were always out of something.Final comment is on the car park, it’s very large, but you have to pay during the weekdays and it’s free at the weekend - which isn’t explained until you get there.Remember, you get what you pay for!

More equipment than many could expect from the small hotel gym.Satisfying experience throughout the workout. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff.

Love the gym and swim, it's a beautiful atmosphere in the pool and really warm water, there is also an outdoor pool, there is a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, there are lifeguards, they do lots of different classes, the gym is up to the minute with all its training equipment. The staff are very welcoming, you have to be a member to use it but a member can take a friend but they have to pay for a day pass
