Amazing boutique salon. Would 10/10 recommend to all women with curly hair. I have struggled in the past with stylists insisting on straightening my hair after a service even after explaining I don't wear my hair that way. I have never been asked to straighten my hair here. They also have made it clear that they do not shame people for straightening their curly hair either.

This was my first time here and I am definitely coming back. This place is exclusively for curly hair and it took me so long to find that out. Kayla did an amazing work with my hair cut and styling. She explained everything in detail about washing and styling curly hair. Its rare to find stylists with good knowledge about curly hair, tats in my case but others may have had good experiences before. I enter a salon with excitement about my hair cut and very rarely walk out satisfied. This place is an exception. I am so happy with my service and I would recommend this salon to anyone with curly hair.

If you have curly hair, get yourself on the wait list, you won't regret it! They are so knowledgeable. Your appointment is not rushed, they take all the time you need to really understand how to take care of your curls. Kayla is also awesome to chat with.

Got my hair cut and styled today by Kayla. AMAZING! It looks so good! I’ve had really bad experiences with other random hairdressers in the past who did not know how to properly cut or style curly hair, and Kayla did an amazing job. Only person/studio I will trust with my hair from now on! Never going anywhere else!

I got my 3C curly hair cut and styled by Shelly and all I can say is WOW. The cut was educational and I walked out of the salon with new knowledge on how to style my curly hair (I am 28 years old). The products used are good quality and I have never been more happy and confident with my curls. Shelly was very professional and made me feel comfortable to open up about my curly hair journey. The price and wait time to get an appointment are well worth it and you will not be disappointed. You definitely get what you pay for. Fantastic experience and wish I could give a rating higher than 5 for exceptional experience.

Took over a 9 months on the waitlist to get an appointment, and now that It's been a few weeks with my cut, I can't completely say it was worth it (I paid ~$200 w tip for <1 hour in the chair which included dry time) or that my hair looks substantially better than from other salons.I would say try it if you have very curly/coily locks or have been given grief from past cuts, otherwise skip it if your hair is more wavy or on the more manageable side.

There’s a reason why these girls are popular and have a waitlist. I finally was able to get in to cut my curly hair. Love my look. Feels healthy and bouncy again. I also was left feeling empowered about how to take better care of my curls. They do lots of teaching and that in itself is worth so much. Love love love. Highly recommend!

I get my hair cut by Kayla, and I've really enjoyed her work so far. She is talented and a good listener and communicator - she makes sure you're both clear on what you're trying to accomplish with your hair.When I moved to Calgary, I was really surprised by the lack of salons/stylists that specialized in curly hair. Honey was the only option - thank goodness it had good reviews. It might be disheartening to have to get on a waitlist for a stylist, but cancellation spots do come available and in my case it didn't take too long. For me it was worth the wait and I look forward to continuing to work with Kayla in the future!FYI they only do cuts, no colour or other treatments.
