The folks at Greenbarn have been incredibly helpful and kind in my recent experience setting up a home studio. I love this store! I almost always find what I’m looking for and leave with some fun extras. Very impressed with the stock given the state of the world. The only thing I would change is to include a few weekend or evening hours for the 9-5 working folk :) thanks Greenbarn!

Greenbarn is always pretty solid in my experience, since covid I have placed like 5 orders over email or phone and I am always promptly helped (usually by Melissa, shes great. Casey helped me this last time and he was pretty good too), all my orders have been correct when I go to pick it up. I took off a star because while they are by far the best option locally, especially for buying clay, they are a bit expensive overall.

Good products. Great location. Prompt delivery. I just don't get their customer service. I spend thousands of dollars here every year and most of the staff can't be bothered to offer advice or freely give out any information, even when ordering a $6000 kiln. If you ask questions you may get a reluctant answer. If there was anywhere else to shop locally, I would avoid this place. Most times I am made to feel like I am bothering them just by shopping there.

I have been impressed with greenbarn's willingness to answer questions and provide advice. I have ordered a number of items to get set up from home and shipments have been prompt, and the quality of the products they sell have been excellent. If there has been an issue with a missed item or misdirection they have been proactive in rectifying matters. I would highly recommend this business.

Glad to get the supplies I needed to get back to work in my small pottery studio. If I’ll be frank, the quality of service is heavily lacking and I am pretty disappointed with this experience.Customer service goes a long way, especially when almost $700 is being spent on a smaller order. Clarity on the phone would be helpful to know when in fact the order could be ready, acknowledgement when coming into the store is always a nice touch, and maybe a polite conversation about products instead of eyebrows raised and flat tone while answering questions. Needless attitude throughout my entire experience was beyond unnecessary.Also, I’m glad I’m strong and capable to move many boxes of clay into my truck while an employee with much larger stature watched me load all the boxes in myself.

It's really frustrating when communication and customer service is terrible. After waiting 15 minutes for an employee to finish helping another customer, he just left without offering any help or any warning. When we finally got his attention, he did not answer any of our questions properly and seemed as if he just wanted to end the conversation as soon as possible.Tools were a bit pricey, but I am also a beginner so I'm not sure what normal prices are.

Please remember that all potters that come into your store aren't teachers or potter masters. My friends and are are still newbies and excited out learning about new glazes and all the wonders of pottery.A client should never feel that they are being treated with an ill manner. For years we've been told only go to green barn as a last resort. Now I now why. My last visit was three years ago. I now pay more for quality service and please remember you are in a service industry and to celebrate the industry not to make paying customers feel like they are inept. Time for a fresh happy crew or is it that your employees are told to do just that- give them 5% knowledge and then walk away. If there was BBB for pottery you should be reported. If you have grown tired of your own companyR E T I R E....

They sell expensive. I prefer to buy in other place in Burnaby.
