This was our worst experience ever! It was pouring in Vancouver that day. My husband & I were in the city for the weekend to look for housing & daycare. When we reached Emma's daycare after looking it up online, we were made to stand outside in the rain while the manager spoke to us from inside through the window. She was extremely rude & told us that they were closed for the day. We tried to explain to her that we had come all the way from Boston & just needed to speak to her for a few minutes about the daycare program but she slammed the window shut.No one deserves to be treated this way! In a city of such friendly people we were shocked to find such behavior! Wonder what kind of manners they will teach to the kids that go there. Stay away from this place if you can! There are other far better options out there!

Emma is a good friend of mine. She is a wholesome texan and she has never let me down. When i was down in the mines looking for diamond she always held down the dirt hut and kept it safe from zombies above ground. And when she goes mining i will always do the same for her. Lov u Emma ❤️❤️

Both our children have gone through Emma's and we love this day care. We have always found them to be kind, caring, sensitive to the children's individual needs, and professional. They helped us with strategies for everything from toilet training to teaching our kids to respect others.Re the reviewer from Boston, why should they talk to people who drop in unannounced after work hours? No day care could deal with people randomly coming by whenever they wanted, expecting questions to be answered immediately. All Vancouver group daycares are in high demand - there simply aren't adequate spaces for the children who need them. Every day care in Vancouver has a lengthy wait list and clear procedures to be followed if parents are interested in placing their kids there.Having been very fortunate in winning the daycare lottery, I can assure you that Emma's IS one of the best, and you would be grateful for the peace of mind they provide if your child is lucky enough to be offered a spot. I will say that the one thing that has sometimes caused us stress is that Emma's hours are tighter than those of other centres - they run from 8 AM to 4 PM, which makes sense considering their primary purpose is to support teen parents who attend the adjoining school.
