South Health Maternity & Wellness

This maternity clinic is great the receptionists are always very friendly and all the doctors I have seen are personable and knowledgeable and take the time to answer questions. I do however have an issue with how often late they are, in my 2 pregnancies I have waited almost an hour to see the doctor on several occasions.I understand that by taking the time to answer all the questions asked by many patients in a day will cause delays.. but in reading others reviews I am not the only one that has had this issue, possibly they need to add some more time allotment a couple of times a day so the patients that arrive on time are not wasting their time.

I have had 2 out 3 of my babies through this clinic and they have been wonderful. From receptionists, nurses to doctors and it continues on into the hospital itself. Very supportive and always ready to give that extra time if needed.Thank you to the team!

I am very grateful for the care I recieved by the team at this clinic and at the South Health Campus hospital for my first pregnancy. I had a great experience with all doctors and staff and always felt cared for and listened to throughout my pregnancy and delivery. Thank you!

South maternity took excellent care of me during my pregnancy. Not only were the doctors amazing but the front staff are extremely lovely too. My birth experience in south health was lovely and something I’ll never forget. Thank you too all the staff that made my journey so beautiful!

Rama exudes professionalism and knowledge. She also spent time to investigate underlying history to fully explain issues pertaining strictly to me. Her enthusiasm made my experience with her very comfortable!

When my wife was pregnant we visited this place quite often, and the doctors, nurses and receptionists are fantastic. The place itself is quite nice and they have multiple rooms with everything they may need to check women and babies. They were very accommodating with scheduling appointments and our overall experience was very positive. Would definitely recommend them.

This clinic and pharmacy are not well enough known. They have lactation consultants. The pharmacy has raspberry leaf tea and can make compounds, which only a few pharmacies can do.

My family doctor referred me to this clinic and when they called me, we scheduled an appointment in 1 month. On the scheduled day and time I arrived to the clinic and waited for Dr. Logsetty in an assessment room. Once Dr. Logsetty came into the room, they started saying that I live way too far away from their clinic and it must be very inconvenient for me to get to them(I live ~20 far from Calgary and it does not really matter what clinic in Calgary I need to get to as anyway it would be 40-45 mins of driving). I was surprised we started off the appointment that way but told that yes, it would be probably better if I could find a clinic closer but that does not really matter and my family doctor has already sent a referral and I am here for the appointment. Dr. Logsetty answered they really want to reserve the space in their clinic for somebody who lives in their area and that I should ask my family doctor to find another clinic for me. It became pretty clear, there would be no appointment and that they didn't want me in their clinic so when they proposed to leave a note for my family doctor to find another clinic, I agreed. Next day my family doctor called me asking why I denied going into the South Health Maternity & Wellness clinic, I had my jaw dropped. I denied? Family doctor read me the note Dr. Logsetty left on my file - it clearly stated that I denied going into their clinic because it was far from me and I want another clinic to be referred to. I told that was not true and my family doctor gave me another referral.I still have no idea why Dr. Logsetty didn't want me in their clinic and why they lied in my file. Maybe, Dr. Logsetty just didn't like me, who knows....

Amazing experience! I was in my third trimester and my maternity clinic stopped returning my calls because they got “too busy”. I heard this was a great maternity clinic and decided to see if I could come here instead, I was panicked and praying they would accept me as I was very close to going into labour. Thankfully, they accepted me! I received incredible prenatal care here. The nurses and doctors are wonderful people and all made me feel safe and comfortable, they’re patient and caring. I never once felt rushed or unheard, I felt understood and gratefulI was here. I can’t say enough good things about this clinic, everyone here is lovely and great at what they do. I loved every second spent here! If I become pregnant again I am 100% coming back here, nowhere else and no one else I’d rather have a baby with.
