Thank-you for guiding us through the journey of finding and installing a new floor in our condo home. Staff knowledge, ideas and addressing questions helped all the way through the process. Installation went smoothly and according to plan. We are now enjoying our new floor and really happy with that we decided to work with Kingsway.

My wife and I have a north facing window next to our kitchen table and decided that it was time to put an end to the drafts we face every winter. Having heard very good things about Kingsway Carpets & Blinds, we visited there last month and were extremely impressed with Marie, as she suggested that we look at the Duette Architella® by HunterDouglas, which fit our needs perfectly. The next day, our window was measured by a Kingsway Carpets & Blinds representative. We were promised delivery in four weeks, and to our amazement, the blinds were installed three weeks and two days later. We had expected installation to take quite awhile, but the installer surprised us by how quickly and professionally our new blinds were up and running. He even took time to explain to us how to register the blinds with HunterDouglas. We were exceptionally pleased with everything about our experience with Kingsway Carpets & Blinds.

Disappointed that my partner and I chose this company. They had great google reviews but our experience was horrible. Carpet was installed inconsistently. Some areas are tucked in perfectly against the wall some areas aren’t. First they said they do baseboards but the options were outdated and did not match the rest of our condo. After an inspection, they said they could match our current baseboard but it would cost an additional $600 (the carpet installation alone for the bedroom was $2000). The baseboards were not professionally installed at all. Many areas had gaps and were not level with the carpet. Visible corners were cut on a 45 angle while interior corners in the closet were cut at a 90 degree angle and the use of caulking to connect the baseboard looked awful. They didn’t even paint the baseboard to cover the putty used to cover nails. The job was done inconsistently. When I went back to the store to speak with Maria in person to let her know we weren’t satisfied especially with the baseboard, she basically said it’s tricky and my floors are not levelled? Then they didn’t install my closet track back and wanted me to pay extra for them coming back to install it?? If this company has experienced carpenters you would think that the track needs to be installed back when the carpet is completed. They accused us of not paying them again for the carpenter to come back and install the track. I didn’t give them a dime more. They took no fault for anything and blamed my partner and I for their inconsistent work and didn’t take any blame for anything. The workers took so many smoke breaks that they didn’t finish our bedroom in one day. It’s such a small bedroom. The communication is not great. Never called us back asking if anyone came back to install it for us and again never received a call. Horrible customer service. They didn’t get me to sign any documents in the end to charge my credit card saying that I was pleased with the final result. They just debited my credit card.We wouldn’t recommend this company based on our recent experience. I’ve added some photos for reference below.

We had Kingsway replace the carpet in the main living area of our rental property and were very pleased with the installation. When it's time to do the upstairs, we'll be sure to call Maria again. Thank you!!

King’s way carpet and blinds is one of the best company so far for me. Maria is very polite, welcoming, and professional. She gave us the quality carpet on our time and schedule. The guy named Jan is very professional and respectful He came on time and removed the old carpet installed the new carpet in a few hours. Left the place clean and our house looks great with this soft and fuzzy carpet. My partner and I ordered blinds from the same place and she gave us a great price for the great job done. Installers were very respectful. They removed their shoes and left the house clean. Very satisfied with the job. I will recommend everyone to contact Kings way for carpet and blind. Thank you to the staff at Kingsway Carpets and Blinds. Very friendly and knowledgeable service all around. We had Hunter-Douglas blinds installed in our 1 storey home. We would definitely do business with them again.

3rd time I've purchased carpet from Kingsway, latest was a new stair and hallway carpet and everything worked out very well. Maria provides great advice on selection and budget. I had to move out the installation date twice and they were very accomodating. Highly recommend!
