Himalayan Spice Bistro
We visited here while going back to Calgary.Very happy with visitStaff and owner were nice and keep asking if we need anything.I can't complain for anything we liked it and may visit again if we pass through.I hope they get more drink options like Lassi etc .

Himalayan Spice Bistro
We were looking for a curry fix and decided to give this place a try. Was somewhat busy inside when we arrived bit we were able to get a table on the sidewalk patio. We ordered two meat dishes and a veggie, as well as some garlic naan, samosas and papadum. Was surprised that rice doesn’t come with the dishes bit one order of basmati was enough for two. Food was good quality and really tasty. Server was friendly and attentive. Price was good for what we received. We also enjoyed our conversation with the owner who came out at the end of our meal to chat. Good luck with your new venture!

Above and beyond service! We asked if there was any way we could watch the superbowl and they literally put together a table in the random room on the other side of the restaurant to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious!! Sharable rice and Naan. Delicious curries with choice of spice level.Bobby the owner was talking to us about opening a restaurant in Whitefish where we live and we CAN NOT WAIT! 10/10 will die to eat here again.

Im quite disappointed with the food coz it's not that kind of Indian food that I'm expecting. I always love Indian food but the way they cooked the curry was not that good and not even tasty. We also ordered mango lassi but the glass was very small and the lassi is so thick and sour. Quantity is very less for the price. For me the only exceptional is the good service of the server. She is really good and friendly.

We always plan one night of every Fernie visit to eat at this casual restaurant that is truly a hidden gem. An unlikely find in a small town like Fernie - would easily compete in a big city. One of the best Indian/Himalayan restaurants I’ve been to anywhere. Try the excellent homemade Naan bread - you’ll never buy store-bought Naan again once you get a taste of their real Naan!

Himalayan Spice Bistro
Since moving to Fernie I've had the chance to expand my palate and I must say the Himalayan Spice Bistro is hands down my favourite restaurant when looking for Indian cuisine. Everything from the appetizers to the mains is delicious and so perfectly seasoned and cooked, it it wonderful. Not only that but the prices are so reasonable for the portion size - I find myself getting at least two meals out of some dishes. I also super appreciate the option for delivery as i get very anxious and overwhelmed in public spaces so getting to enjoy this wonderful food in the comfort of my own home, while still piping hot, is amazing.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been great but recently I had an exceptional meal and I felt it was worth a review. I ordered the Saag Paneer and my husband had the butter chicken. Both were impeccable, with perfect spice levels and really great flavour. The Naan was a really generous serving. We split a bottle of the Bordeaux wine which also paired nicely. We were there for a big birthday dinner and the service was great, too. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because it would be great if they offered non alcoholic beer on the menu.
