Bear Lake Experience
Our family had an amazing time at Bear Lake this past Victoria Day longweekend! We didn't know what to expect, but had a pretty good feeling about thissmall, family run campground. Our family of 6 has been camping since ouryoungest was one. He is almost 14 years old, and he and his three siblings(16, 18, 20) all agreed this was a perfect family camping experience. We appreciated how Rob (our host), was quick to respond with our request tomake a reservation, and was equally available via phone, text, or email withany questions or concerns. Due to work, we arrived a little after 7pm, inthe drizzle, and were greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic host. Rob hadeven suggested a different site then we had originally booked, which had afantastic few of the lake and close to the restroom. All of the sites have aview of the lake/pond, which is full of wildlife activity from fish, tadpoles, snakes, frogs, turtles and even a muskrat. We even had thepleasure of watching a gorgeous bald eagle swoop in over the pond trying tocatch his dinner. The trails are all slightly different and offer something new for all toexplore. We found wild mushrooms growing up some trees and low-lyingmushrooms, we have never seen before. The forests are filled with wildraspberries and an assortment of native plants included our nationalTrillium, both white and dark purple. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hiking, campfire cooking, skits, and games.Rob and Janet took all interested guests on a spooky night hike whichwouldn't have been complete if it hadn't been for the howling coyote. Do notfear, we had no unwelcomed visitors during the day or night. If you and your family are looking for a relaxing, natured filled, enjoyablecamping trip, look no further than the Bear Lake Experience in Warwick,Ontario.Thank you, Rob and Janet, for an amazing weekend. We will certainly be back!

The campground is well maintained, quiet and truly gives you a sense of being in the true outdoors while being in southwestern Ontario. We loved how close we were to Lake Huron and the campground owners are amazing hosts!

Bear Lake Experience
Just spent four days with our 5th wheel overlooking Bear Lake .Easy in - level 30 amp site.Very quite get away if you want to relax with a book by the lake and enjoy the natural setting.Nothing better than a campfire with the moonlight reflecting off the water. We also visited a nearby winery and Ipperwash beach as well .

One word describes Bear Lake peaceful" love the beautiful country living. The view from our trailer to the water is gorgeous. The trip down sunset lane lets you experience the sun as it goes down each evening. Picture Perfect"

Bear Lake Experience
We loved tent camping in Bear Lake for the night! It felt safe, quiet, and peaceful. Rob and his family were extremely welcoming hosts and even provided us his personal campfire grill which we used to cook dinner. They also have fire wood on site available for purchase. Bathroom facilities were very clean. Not too far from the highway so it's also great location to camp if you're just passing through. Thanks again, Rob!

Bear Lake Experience
Bear lake is a quiet privately owned well maintained camp ground. Hours of trails to hike and a beautiful lake to canoe, swim or fish in. There is also a small cabin to rent for those who don't tent or trailer but still want to enjoy the outdoors. We plan and going during the spring and summer next year although the fall colours are beautiful! We also visited stonepicker brewery and alton farms winery which are only about a 7 minute drive. They have wine and beer tastings and sometimes live entertainment. We stocked up on some delicious beer and wine. The Saturday morning we golfed at Forest golf club. We golfed 18 but they do offer 27 holes. We had lunch afterwards and the fish and chips were delicious. Very picturesque course with an old covered bridge to drive through.
