I have to say that my father’s cremation was handled efficiently and that the staff other than Preston Webb were compassionate and professional. Mr. Webb however was probably one of the rudest and most obnoxious person I have had to deal with in my life. He should find another profession that does not allow him to deal with the public. Please do yourself a favour avoid this man. There are other similar companies that do this service at similar cost.

I prepaid for my husband's cremation when he went into a carehome. When he passed away in hospital it was nice to know, as they tell you beforehand, that when you call when your loved one has passed, they will call you back within an hour. I found this to be true and my husband passed away on a weekend when there office was closed but I was still called back within an hour. I found Preston to be upfront, compassionate and very efficient. Everything was just as promised and more. A Basic Cremation made everything go seamlessly at a particularly difficult time. My family thanks you!

I am very relieved and glad I found A Basic Cremation on google search after all. I have inquired other funeral homes and felt discouraged and disappointed because they were just bunch of money grabbers with very friendly smiles. Be careful. It can be deceiving when you are emotional after losing a loved one.Some reviews mentioned Preston, the owner, was rude and not personal because he went straight to a full detailed information and lots of it at once in terms of what next... he wasn't rude, he was giving an honest and very accurate steps without the fake small talks and smiles. Honestly, I found that very important especially when I was emotional and overwhelmed with my beloved grandmother's passing. I needed to know I am not being taken advantage of. Preston and his team have provided a caring service with respect and dignity by committing to only an honest and cost effective service. If you are searching for a simple cremation to trust your loved one to the final step, look no further. I would recommend them 100%. With the recent passing of my Mother, this company was amazing. Their kindness and patience was very appreciated. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before contacting this business. Sadly, this is the first negative review I have ever written for any business, and it not something that I want to do, but I feel that I must. This Preston guy should absolutely not be dealing with people who are going through a challenging time with death and grief. His manner is abrupt and impatient. When I told him I did not appreciate his tone of voice, he hung up on me. Perhaps he should consider taking some communication courses on how to speak with people, especially those who are experiencing a sad situation. I am an extremely friendly person and always polite, so for him to speak to me the way he did under such sad circumstances is very telling. 1 star is too generous.
