Revelation Martial Arts and Fitness

Revelation offers a FANTASTIC learning environment! We currently have 5 family members enrolled in class. Our kids have gained so much more than new skills, and we all started brand new to martial arts!With the support and guidance of Coach Doug, my sons confidence in himself and willingness to try new things have grown so tremendously. Coach Doug inspires his students to strive for greatness in all of their tasks, and his students victories are his own as well.

My son and I joined Revelation Martial Arts and Fitness over one year ago. Prior to joining, I had visited a few local martial arts centres/gyms but I never felt completely comfortable or welcomed.Immediately I was greeted and welcomed by coach Doug. He provided us with a tour, introduced us to the class and offered a complimentary class to see how we liked the programs. I can’t put into words the passion, dedication and sense of community at this gym.My son has enjoyed all his classes, every camp and various activities ranging from Halloween parties to holiday celebrations. What sets this gym apart is the atmosphere. You are immediately treated as family.Doug, Lisa, Amanda and all the members are welcoming, kind, and fun to be around. The kids programs are structured but so much fun, and each day they learn a new valuable skill or lesson. You’re not only getting a great workout but you’re also gaining confidence, life skills and making lifelong friends.After one year I can attest that this is the best gym!If you have not had the chance to check it out, you need to. You will not regret it. You’ll only regret not joining sooner.

My son has been going here for about a month. He loves it! Lisa is very helpful and answers all my question. I love that Couch Doug encourages the children. He will correct them while be positive and getting down to their level and showing them. Such a great place, very happy I found it!

My son loves his class. He always comes home feeling good about himself and also very proud. Coach Doug is amazing with little kids, he just seems to know exactly what to say. I will definitely be sending my youngest there too. Revelation Martial Arts is an amazing place for kids and adults. I highly recommend it.

Quality coaching and a positive work environment. I feel confident leaving my kids in Coach Doug's hands 6 days a week for training. They cant get enough of that place. Highly recommend for all kids. My kids have been training there for almost 5 years now!

My two daughters, 7yrs & 11yrs, joined early fall of this year not having any previous exposure to martial arts & because of Coach Doug's vigor and uplifting spirit, alongside the welcoming environment of the members, they have quickly developed a strong passion for the program. My experience while** at the gym was positive overall, the problem came following me cross training at another gym to maximize my training and progress. I left on my own terms choosing to train elsewhere for the most effective training to achieve my goals in the sport. I was told I would not be allowed to continue cross training at multiple gyms and was forced to discontinue my membership. In previous gyms I have attended there has never been any discouragement from training at multiple gyms, sometimes it has even been encouraged for the benefits of an individual student. This overall left a sour taste in my mouth as I had made some friends here, following this i was blocked on social media by the gym and now train at another facility in brockville. Overall very disappointed with the way the situation was handled and feel their management should re-evaluate how they treat their athletes.

Had an amazing experience! Coach Doug is extremely warm and welcoming and has such a passion for the sport of BJJ. If you’re visiting or live in the area I definitely recommend dropping in. You'll have a wonderful time training and learning!Oss
