Sedat’s Fine Tailoring and Dry Cleaning took immense time and care to make my bridesmaid dress absolutely perfect!I went in thinking that all I needed was the bottom of the dress shortened and explained that the front of the dress was too open and I felt uncomfortable. He gave me professional suggestions for how he could tailor it. This took place on a Monday and I needed it done no later than Friday. Even in this busy time of year, he put in the extra effort to have it done for me by Thursday. This left me extra time to prep other wedding aspects which I worried I would not get to.The overall experience and outcome of my dress surpassed my expectations. Prices were reasonable and the experience and professionalism behind his workmanship is certainly hard to find. I would highly recommend his business to anyone looking for supreme quality at a reasonable price.Thank you, Sedat!!

After only two shop visits, Sedat's is now my go-to place for all future tailoring needs. The tailoring work is exceptionally fine, actually perfect. I have had two experiences where I needed garments refitted, and on both occasions measurements were taken quickly, respectfully, and accurately. If you are someone who enjoys a calm atmosphere where people smile, Sedat's is a good choice for your tailoring needs.

Sedat does such beautiful and honest work.I got my wedding dress tailored here and it fits my body so well. There was about 3-4 layers of fabric and he did such a wonderful job. He was very patient, for we had 3 dress fittings. He also did my fiancé suit and it fits him like a glove. He is a bit far for me but I will be going to Sedats to get anything tailored in the future!

I've been coming here since I moved to Fairport 4 years ago, unfortunately after today I will need to find another tailor. I go every summer to get my work clothes hemmed and/or repaired. Last year I brought in about 12 items, when I picked up my order, I checked the first item, the workmanship looked good so I paid and off I went. This summer when cleaning our my closet I noticed a skirt had a loose thread; I took it out of the closet and to my surprise it still had the safety pins from last year and was never hemmed. Last week I brought in pants that needed to be hemmed along with that skirt. The owner was lovely, apologized and said he would fix it. Today when picking up my items, I was scolded by the older gentlemen that next time he will not fix it for free ; it had been a year and it was my fault for not checking. As I explained to him, I am not being paid to inspect your work; I am paying you to do your job. When did the American business model change that consumers can no longer expect what they pay for and it is our fault when the work is not done to our satisfaction. The declining economy of the Rochester area can not and will not survive a model where the consumer is blamed and the merchant assumes no responsibility.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a tailor! He just did my wedding dress and it’s perfect! He is friendly, accommodating, and extremely talented. He is the only tailor our family will use in the future.

Sadat was extremely helpful and did a fantastic job tailoring my suit. He gave me great advice which showed me how much he truly cares about giving his customers the best service and tailoring experience. He made me feel welcome the second I walked in the door. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

This was my first time visiting Sedat's and it was a wonderful experience. His prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of craftsmanship you receive, his work is incredibly detailed and done with great care, You can see how much he cares about his customers.

Can't believe we're so lucky to have Sedat help me with my wedding dress! He's super professional while kind and patient. The vintage wedding dress I got was too small for me but he managed to add fabric throughout the dress to make it fit for me. He's a lifesaver and was able to finish it just in time for my wedding on such short notice (1 month). Would def come back again for my other dresses~

I’ve brought a couple garments to Sedat including dresses, pants, and a winter coat to be altered and repaired. He always does a pristine job especially with difficult fabrics! His attention to detail is amazing, he noticed a rip in my coat that I didn’t even see. I highly recommend Sedat and I’ll keep coming back as long as I need something tailored!

Sedat is not only an amazing tailor but he's an amazing human being. He's always very polite and very timely and he does a great job and really cares.
