Mount Nemo Sales & Service

I’ve been dealing with Mount Nemo for nearly 20 years. They service all the small engines for my employer and are where I buy most of my small engine parts for my own projects. They have repaired, serviced and even rebuilt hundreds of motors for us over the years and I can honestly say we have never had a problem with the quality of their work or service. They have always worked hard to find obscure parts and keep some of our old and irreplaceable equipment working. I couldn’t say enough good about this company.

The service department was friendly and professional. I came in for repair issues for a snowblower and a tune up. They require a prepayment of $50 for the inspection that would be applied to the service bill if thw servicing was completed by Mount Nemo...if you decided to take the problem elsewhere the $50 is charged for the inspection. THIS WAS EXPLAINED UP FRONT SO THERE WAS NO SURPRISES.The service time estimate was accurate. The service department called and provided options on how to proceed. The job was completed on time and on budget.

We were looking for right sized equipment to maintain a newly purchased 1 acre property in Flamborough.Christelle was more than helpful as we discussed the size, layout, and our expectations of our potential oasis. Her recommendations lead us to a perfect solution.We decided on a zero turn 42 Toro Timecutter for the main equipment.A Stihl combo pack with gas powered motor unit that fits a series of attachments including hedge trimmer

Fantastic friendly service. Fair prices and a fairly decent turn around time for repairs. Don't try to drop off your snowblower 1 day before a blizzard... you'll definitely be using a shovel lol

We bought a Briggs & Stratton one stage snow blower exactly 3 years ago with an extended warranty thinking to support a local business instead one of the big store.First year the chute broke was fixed under warranty, second year the paddles broke, they told us it was wear and tears, after only 2 usages of our snowblower. she wouldn’t do anything for us at the store so we paid the $295.00. This year after 1use of our snowblower it broke again, we are not on warranty anymore so no way we would go back to that place, we got it fixed here locally $195.00 later we had to get the bearing and empalor fixed. We use that snowblower 5 to 6 times and it was broken 3 times. It is now a joke on our street, when it snowed the neighbours come with their snowblowers because ours break all the time. It look good not even a scratch, this is how often we used it. Save yourself headaches and buy Costco or Canadian Tire at least they stand by their service after sale. I would give zero rating for that place.

Just picked up a new chain saw. Great people, very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. The staff showed me all things I needed to know being my first Stihl saw. They are setting up some chains for ripping for me. I will be buying from them from now on.

Have used Mount Nemo Sales and Service for over 25 years. My experience has always been great, but especially so today. Brought in my weed eater for service. Rather than have me return, they performed a minor repair while I waited. Great people as friendly as you would expect from local small business!

I came in with a question about a old carburetor on a snowblower and they had the answer before I finished asking my question, best place for small engines ever hands down

Brought in my ms 661 for diagnostic. Saw ran and cut but was inconsistent returning to idle. After a few weeks they called me to approve a carb kit and intake manifold boot. I said go ahead and let me know when to pick up. Received another call a week later saying they replaced all the parts we discussed and the saw was not fixed. I was frustrated as they are supposed to be trained stihl techs and this is a simple air cooled single cylinder motor. Arrived to pick up the saw and it was in about 100 pieces in a box. This is an expensive piece of equipment, over 1500$ new. They offered me 200$ for the saw and refused to re assemble because they “spent all weekend trying to identify the issue and couldn’t get it running” I only approved a carb kit and manifold.... somehow I was on the hook for their labour although they were the ones that misidentified the problem. They refused to give me back my saw until I payed their labour and even threatened to keep my saw. I payed the labour and have since been dealing directl with stihl Canada. Don’t trust these garage mechanics with your expensive equipment. I would suggest any other stihl dealer in the area as I’ve had great experience with everyone else. I have had upwards of 25 stihl saws over the years and currently have 6 I use weekly. Trust me, if you’re in the tree service/forestry industry, go anywhere else but here for your service.
