Clinique Médicale D'Urgence De L'Outaouais

I understand living in Quebec the language is predominantly french. However I pay my Provincial taxes to Quebec as a resident, and would expect that individuals treat all with respect as providing necessary services. Being in the Medical field, you think you would have someone answering your phone that could cater to individuals in BOTH OFFICIAL languages, that was friendly, and not some rude person that makes you feel that your annoying them when all you seek, is to see a Dr.I am very tired of the older" generation thinking that Quebec sits on a higher throne than the rest of Canada and if you don't speak french you wont get service. You're in a professional industry and think you should be acting as such. You should be ashamed of your receptionist Nov 15th 1:15pm."

To be fair, because it's a Clinic exclusive for Emergencies, I can comprehend protocol of ignoring other issues without service of any kind, but as many have claimed, the Doctor is arguably incompetent for definitely being dismissive and useless to consult for being ultimately uninformative.To my fault, I wasn't aware while expecting in hope that I could get a quick general health check-up with answers to my concerns of; (anemia, inflammed liver, and a reducible inguinal hernia) which he 'only' confirmed as being present which I didn't need because I diagnosed myself 7 months ago.He assumed I came for a reference for surgery of which I didn't ask for.Basically, my visit was unfortunately meaningless since he only referenced me to a family doctor (Like most, I'm on a waiting list), and to wait for the answers I want from my online doctor of which is somewhat all I can do I guess because I have to wait anyway for a new blood test and what she has to say about my radiology that had no issues".... Again

Tried to book an appointment by phone. No luck.Was impossible to speak to an actual person. Astonishingly bad service - clumsy to navigate and very frustrating. Hard to believe this amateurish level of healthcare exists in Canada. Ontario’s OHIP feels like a professional, first-world public healthcare system by comparison.

I travelled 40 minutes on public transit to get here. Why? Because this clinic advertises itself as a walk in clinic. When I showed up, I was told that I needed to call the night before in order to have an appointment. That's not what a walk in clinic is! If I can't 'walk in', it's not a walk in clinic. False advertising!

Back then before I gave up on this clinic for its poor and sometimes rude customer service, this was the only one available. For hours you waited for a md to see you. It looked as if the system was failing on all of us there. Still looks like nothing much changed for good. Maybe for worse.

Lots of bad reviews because it's fairly difficult to get an appointment. You have to call at 9:30pm the night before to get one and it took me a few days to get in. But the real issue is just that Gatineau doesn't have enough walk-in clinics to service their population unfortunately.My experience was good. Front desk was friendly. Really fast for a walk-in, due to the appointments. Doctor was friendly, and the meeting was very quick because I only needed a prescription refill. I'll return for this type of issue in the future. For urgent care, I'd suggest going to Appletree in Ottawa.

I went to the clinic on June 9th, stood outside from 6:45 am to 8:15 only to be told that the doctor wasn't available until Wednesday. No sign on the door to indicate the doctor wasn't available. Worst place ever! Apple Tree Clinic so much better! I guess you get what you pay for.

doctors are so much in a rush they dont do job properly , went there to get my my tread changed from my boil that was inserted in it at hospital to drain the puss out and when i got there i ask the doctor to change it put a new one in but all he did from what my family doctor told me is the he only cleaned around the wound and did not change the tread so it got supper infected and had to sufffer for a few days before i went to see my family doctor and rushed to hospital emergency to get my back operated on because was so much infection they could no longer drain it so i went from a 2 cm boil to a 12 cm hole on my back , he the doctor at the clinic could of just do his job properly i would not have this hole , now i have to live with this hole that eveyone is looking at each time i take off shirt , dont know if i can bring to court or not

The doctor wasn’t listening at all , he just assumed and he start talking without give me the chance to explain my symptoms. The customer service is very poor and people in this clinic are very rude .

Don’t go there. Front desk is not friendly and NOT helpful at all. The doctor “Fayez Abboud” is even worst. Very ignorant, more than that, he don’t even want to listen to us explaining our medical conditions and draws to a conclusion quickly.
