Connon Nurseries

My garden shopping experience at Connon Nurseries in Newmarket was very enjoyable. It is a well-organized nursery offering a superb selection of quality plants and gardening supplies. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and committed to offering excellent service. I want to thank Chris and Lori in particular for their tremendous assistance. Knowing that I was interested in a few specific plants from Proven Winners that were regrettably unavailable that morning, Chris sought me out to inform me that a Proven Winners delivery truck had unexpectedly arrived. Lori swiftly received the order so that I wouldn't have to wait. They went above and beyond my expectations to accommodate me, allowing me to depart with the plants that I wanted!

Really nice nursery. Easy to browse and they have a huge selection! Got some lovely plants for our home. Very pleased.

Great variety of plants, very neat and convenient location

Beautiful selection of flowers, trees, vegetable plants and an extensive sort of succulents and cacti! Not your everyday plants, I highly recommend them! The staff if so friendly as well.

Will not stand behind their products. Purchased two trees from the nursery. I also purchased two evergreen greens from another nursery. All were planted at the same time. Both trees from this location died despite following the information sheet provided by the nursery. The evergreens from the other nursery are not only alive but appear to be growing exceptionally well.Needless to say it is a major risk to buy from a location who will not stand behind their products especially when they are $500+ per tree.

One star only for the location, building, and background. Very disappointed about the plants. Last year, I bought Lily bulbs and carefully chose my favourite colours, but when they bloomed this Spring, they all grew to be different colours. This year, I purchased many vegetable plants and when I planted them, they were all different varieties than the labels. Not sure why they are fooling us like this, pathetic and disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Waste of time and our short summers to enjoy plants.

Warning this place has awful customer service for refund and credit policies. Bought a tree 4 days ago (not planted and in original container still) I decided didn't want it and asked for a store credit. They refused to issue me a credit because the tree was still alive! I guess I'll plant it, let it die naturally, get a store credit within a 3 year warranty. Ridiculous.

I passed by many times. I drove by yesterday. The display hall is spacious. I bought 3 rare found plants.

Nice nursery to get indoor and outdoor plants. They have a wide variety of Orchids , Gold fish plants for indoor selection. For the outdoor they have healthy palm trees, wide range of Japanese maples, Chedar trees, Christmas trees as well. They also have good breed of honey Chrisp, sweet Queen varieties of apple trees. And wide selection of Cherry, plumes and Archot fruit trees. Best nursery in and around new market. They also provide home delivery options for the selected trees for a fee. I bought a nice Chedar tree and got a warranty for 3 years!
