The Smile Team Pediatric Dentistry

My toddler was comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Chahal and her staff really know how to work with kids. Dr. Chahal does a great job with finding issues early when they can be easily fixed, and counselling on prevention.

My son has been going to The Smile Team for almost 2 years now and we have always had an easy appointment and a great experience. Today was his 3rd visit and for some reason he was extremely nervous and anxious about getting his teeth cleaned. The staff and Dr. P were incredible! They didn’t force anything they let Max touch all the tools and practice on on me and although he was still too nervous in the end for any cleaning the Smile Team made us feel A-OK about it and my son left in a good mood and okay to book his next appointment. Thank you for your kindness and patience!

I am so amazed at the Doctor and everyone who helped my daughter. If you want to have an amazing experience for your child, even if it’s just a filling.. bring your child here. Incredible! I wish I could give them 10 stars. From the accommodating front end staff, to the dental assistants, to the doctor… thank you.

Matt was really good helping my child calm down during her initial visit. The doctor, however, was in a rush and kept walking away from us as we were asking questions about my daughter’s dental health. It was purely a money grab appointment for her as my daughter was not complying to get the polish done, so they stopped polishing the teeth only about 1/4 way into it and decided to put fluoride instead. Then, they wanted to do X-rays to “see” if everything is okay with the back teeth. Instead, they did an X-ray for her front teeth. These unfinished steps were charged for, only to add lines on the bill. After paying, when I asked the receptionist that I would like to speak to the doctor, she said, “when the doc has a minute in her day, I will ask her to call you.” Our appointment was on July 22nd and the doc has yet to find a minute in her day. I’m sure she would have been readily available and the receptionist was more ‘kind’ prior to bill payment. I do not recommend this practice.

I can't say enough good things about this team! My daughter was very nervous going in and the appointment went seamless. From explaining every step before starting to the encouragement during the appointment. So happy to have found the amazing team at The Smile Team.

Definitely not going there anymore and not recommend this place because they have a very rude, unprofessional and impolite reception (I don't know her name, she is the young one who wearing a pair of glasses).I have an appointment today at 10:15am. I checked in around 9:55 because my husband dropped me and my daughter off earlier and went somewhere else. After we checked in, the reception said wait for few minutes. We're waiting nicely in the waiting room. I was not expecting to see the doctor earlier than my scheduled time. I went earlier because we only have one car. Until 10:21 which is already 6 minutes late, no body called us to see the doctor. I asked the reception what time my daughter can see the doctor and I have another appointment at 11:00. She said she needs to check my daughter's appointment. She told me your daughter 's appointment was 10:15. You came earlier doesn't mean you would see the doctor earlier". But at that time it's already passed my appointment time. I didn't say anything and sat down kept waiting. After 2 minutes

When you come from a war-torn country, traumatised and depressed, there is little faith in humanity... The moment we walked into Dr. Chahal's office was a game changer. She and her superb team guided us as newcomers through Alberta health system and wisely advised regarding the insurance. Meanwhile, my daughter received so much care and attention, she now wants to become a dentist! :-)A few hours after Dr. Chahal put dental crowns for my daughter and took her frontal teeth out, she was actively and happily playing! This is the best dentistry you can wish for in the entire world!

Had an amazing appointment with Matt and Dr. Prabhdeep, our 1 year old wasn't a fan of having her teeth looked at but they handled it all amazingly well and everyone was all smiles by the time it was done! So glad we chose this office and can't wait to come back as my daughter is older, I'm sure she'll end up loving dentist trips. And for the parents, everyone was so helpful and able to answer all our questions as well as some tips and tricks that we can use!

Today was our third trip to the Smile Team with our kids. I can now write this with a little more experience and insight. I wanted to wait to write this review so it wasn't just reflecting on our previous pediatric dentist which was not a great experience to say the least.I would recommend the Smile Team to friends, family and anyone with kids. All their staff have a great approach and attitude that makes us feel that they are appreciative of our choice to let them be our kids dentist. They are respectful to us as parents and educate us on choices we have while ensuring the kids feel safe and are comfortable with everything going. Both our kids leave with smiles and confidence in knowing the effort they put in to keeping their teeth healthy is paying off.Thank you Smile Team our kids are in great hands.

Absolutely excellent experience from the second we walked in. Dr. Prabhdeep and her staff were super friendly, professional and welcoming. My little guy needed his tooth wiggled out after an accident and it could not have gone smoother. Lots of fun spaces for them to explore in the office and a very smooth and happy experience for my four year old.Could not recommend this place enough and as a dentist myself, I can especially recognize the attention to detail to give all littles the best possible time while getting their smiles tuned up!
