Larry's Marine

Larry fixed two of my boats. Both were done in a timely manner and at a good price. He knows what he’s doing and I don’t know what the other reviews are about regarding responsiveness/communication but Larry called me multiple times to let me know exactly what was wrong with my boats and what the repairs would cost. I would 100% recommend anyone to Larry above any other mechanic in the area.

Larry is awesome knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. He's quick and prices are quite low compared to other small engine places. My motor runs great and I take it to him anytime I have an issue.

I know of people that have had good work done from Larry, but I am not one of them. I brought my boat in with a specific starting problem and described it in detail. They did a compression test--15 minutes at most--charged 70 bucks and said the motor is junk-get a new one or pay me 1800 to fix it. I brought it to a guy who works on motorcycles and he had it running in 15 minutes like a top--the timing had slipped and needed adjustment. The motor now runs great. I called Larry to explain what happened and wondered about some kind of adjustment and he said he would tell the guy working with him to check into it further next time but no discount. Not only poor service but poor customer satisfaction. Make sure you get everything in writing and get an estimate.

I was spending a week at the lake. My boat motor wouldn’t start. I asked around for suggestions and just about everyone recommended Larry’s. This was in July so I figured there would be no way I would get my boat back that week or anything time soon. I called Larry and he had me bring it right in. He diagnosed, ordered the part and I was back on the lake by midweek. I will take my boat there for any service needed.

I took our boat to Larry this spring not running. I had it back two days later running perfectly. Excellent service and good communication.

Not sure how Larry could get a bad review, but there's always somebody...right? A very nice and knowledgeable marine service shop. Very handy location and very reasonably priced. I've had a couple different boats over there and Larry always tells you exactly what the issues are and how to best solve any problems. Thanks Larry!
