Super friendly service, the staff was very welcoming & knowledgeable! I left with a brand new, beautiful ladies hybrid bike. They made sure it was all set up for me and ready to ride! They have a great selection for those who are looking for a really great bike without breaking the bank, would definitely recommend. They made supporting local an easy choice!

The guys that worked here were super helpful. I went in looking for skates for my son and ended up leaving with a pair for myself as well. They were super patient and kind answered all of my silly questions (because I know nothing about skates) and were very knowledgeable. Would highly suggest this location if you're looking for skates or bikes. A lot of their skates look like they're brand new. I personally will be going back when my son outgrows the skates we bought him.

I’ve had nothing but great service here. Summer had my bikes serviced and today had my skates sharpened and my wife came in and bought a pair of skates for herself. If you are a beginner skater and pond hockey enthusiast. Then this is your place. Sticks for $17, used or new skates to buy or rent and a great sharpening. Glad this place is in the neighbourhood

*UPDATE!*I picked up some figure skates for a VERY reasonable price last winter. I honestly paid like $25/30 tops for gently used skates. Basically like new. Sharpen included of course. Such amazing service. Such a gem of a place.Similar to other reviewers, my childhood is filled with wonderful fond memories of coming to the shop regularly for skate sharpening and my dad making small (big) talk with Don. The customer service is beyond exceptional. I only wish I lived closer to the shop now! But for anyone in the the area and south side, support this local business for your winter skate needs and summer bikes when that season comes. Very special place in our hearts for this place.- The Watson's

Awesome customer service! I brought in an old, weathered bike and they got it back to running like it was brand new in no time at all. They went over everything that needed to be done and their prices are competitive.I would definitely recommend their services! Definitely will be going back to them in the future for all my biking needs.

I went to Millwoods Sports & Cycle a couple of months ago to get the chain tightened and I was very impressed with their outstanding customer service. The gentlemen who helped me was very professional and courteous.The pricing were very reasonable. I went there again to get the leaking tire fixed and they gave me a tube and advised to change it myself to save the money. That was a great advise. I was able to do it myself and saved some money.A great place for bike repairs. I would highly recommend this place.

They ripped me off. I brought my cycle for repair and explained them about the front wheel wobbling and asked them to check might some bearings missing . They gave me estimate of 30$ and after one week I received a call that my cycle is ready. When I went to their shop and checked my bike the wheel was still wobbling. When I asked them what exactly they did on my bike. The old man said nothing was missing as parts so they opened the wheel and greased. When I asked the problem is still there. They said it will be more 30$ for fixing the wobbling. What??? This is totally ripping off. It’s their responsibility to check the bike thoroughly. The value of bike is 250$ and repair cost 60$ . The just ripped off. The mechanic himself told me that they didn’t changed any part just greased the bike. Never coming back and also recommend others to be careful. Worst ever experience.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for quality bike repair service or skate sharpening. Truly a lovely place to shop and trust your belongings at. :)

They gave me the bike i wanted.I had two bad bicycle experiences at Canadian Tire. They are too corporate to give you in house customer service and maintenance.Millwoods Sport & Cycle is the best neighbourhood bicycle shop.
