Was a victim of a fraud where my account password was changed and a etransfer was initiated. Called in an requested to speak to fraud department as I knew my account was compromised. They shut my account down and tell me to go to the branch to get it sorted it, so I go to the branch they have no idea what to do and tell me to sit down and it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Are you guys for real!?! I reported the fraud my self as I seen it CIBC has no security be careful with this bank. IF YOU BECOME A VICTIM OF A FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY CIBC WONT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT WASTE YOUR TIME. FORGET THIS BANK.

CIBC Branch with ATM
By far the worst cibc branch in St. Catharines, would peave no stars if i could. The tellers think they're gods and will not help you at all, make you wait when they are clearly available and not helping other customers. The bank manager will actually run away from her office if she knows someone is there to speak with her. Go to the King st. branch downtown the staff is so much more helpful and treat you like a person.

I went into to pay my HST taxes to the CRA through the Bank today. They told me they cannot do it without a bill.I asked them if I'm able to do it online, the lady was extremely confident that I would not be able to pay it through CIBC online by adding a payee because I didn't have a bill.Please train your staff in delivering the correct knowledge / support, because I spoke with the CRA and they confirmed you can DEFINITELY pay it through CIBC online, if you are unable to produce the bill at the teller.

What a rip-off. I withdrew 2k from the ATM from my USD card and didn't pay much attention to the exchange rate.. They stole 200 USD from me

The branch manager and her staff are unable to support their clients for the simplest of tasks. She defends her unwillingness to support her clients behind policy and procedures. The branch manager paralyzes thought process come from a fear of being disciplined and completely limits her ability to find solutions.

Very rude Branch Manager! Not helpful whatsoever and made my wife and myself feel like we were bothering her. Not sure why she is in the position she is in but she needs to be let go. Since when has CIBC’s standards been so low!?
