Dr. David Yang - OMSGroup Richmond

I have had experience with a number of Dental providers in the Greater Vancouver area over my 43 years of residence here. My care and treatment from Dr. Yang and the OMS Group in Richmond stands at the very top for many reasons. When it was necessary for Dr. Yang to quarantine due to exposure to Covid-19, they contacted me promptly and set up a new appointment for the day after his return to the Clinic. Upon arrival at the Clinic, I noticed that everyone was quite good at following all of the expected protocols to protect their patients and staff from infection. Distancing, mask wearing, and the use of disinfectant wipes to clean surfaces between patients.Dr. Yang was very professional but in a personable way. He acknowledged my anxiety about the surgery and carefully and thoroughly explained the procedures and the amount of time which would be required. He put in the freezing and carefully checked out my sensitivity. He found that I needed more freezing and accommodated me in this. I felt that he was sensitive to my needs as his patient.. I never felt that the procedure was rushed or under the gun to be completed as quickly as possible. As Dr. Yang proceeded with the operation, he kept me informed as to the progress and the approximate amount of time left to complete it. We discussed the prescriptions which he gave me at the end and he was receptive to my input as to my sensitivity to codeine and prescribed an alternate medication.Dr. Yang followed up with me in the evening on the day of my surgery to see what my condition was and to inquire as to any problems. On the morning after my surgery, his office phoned me with a further followup.I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Yang and his team to all of my family and friends and I will definitely be returning to his clinic for an implant to replace the molar which was removed. I feel fortunate to have had his services for my operation.

Dr David Yang was very helpful and answered any questions during my consultation. For my wisdom teeth removal, I got all 4 taken out in about 1.5 hours with IV sedation. I felt no pain at all during the procedure and woke up feeling more or less fine. Aftercare is tough so make sure you have someone at home with you to help. Otherwise, I think Dr Yang was a great surgeon and I had no issues at all

Many thanks to Dr. Yang and his whole team as they did a fantastic job on my impacted wisdom tooth extraction yesterday! Dr. Yang is very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything that I wanted to know for my surgery clearly during my consultation with him. His office assistants were also very helpful and responsible when they were going through pre-op and home care instructions with me. During the process of my surgery, Dr. Yang and his two nurses made my experience painless and at ease. Now I am recovering well and I have very minimal swelling on my cheek and barely any pain left. I believe this speaks for Dr. Yang's outstanding surgical skills and his assistants' meticulous care!

I had a positive experience with my treatment and with the communications with staff admins. As a patient, I had opportunity to ask questions and be heard. Dr. Yang appears to be a very dedicated and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Yang is an extremely professional and skillful dentist. I had two impacted wisdom tooth and they were removed this morning. I feel very good with no pains and my face isn't swelling untill now. It's a wonderful experience here. I really highly recommend Dr. Yang if u have the same problem as me.

I am truly grateful for having Doctor David Yang for my wisdom tooth extraction. He has given all the information and what- to - expect to a worrying patient and that is a big big plus. The staff at the clinic are super friendly and helpful as well. I will recommend Doctor Yang to anyone without hesitation.

Highly recommend Dr. David Yang and his team! They are very patient, caring, and thorough! Dr. Yang is very professional and my wisdom teeth extraction was quick and smooth. He called to follow up after my procedure and his team called the next day. Minor swelling (not bad at all) and no pain after. Than you Dr. Yang and his team.

Since I have bad teeth and a lot of cavities and visiting so many dentist and oral surgeons, this clinic is the best one that I have ever been and Dr. David Yang is one of the amazing doctors that I’ve met. He is very knowledgeable and respectful and has a sense of humor too(which not many doctors do!). He explained everything about extracting wisdom tooth and told me what I need to know before and what to do after extraction. He extracted a tooth that 4 dentist tried together to pull it out, but they couldn’t! Dr David did in less than a minute. It was a great experience. Also, his staffs are amazing. They tried to make me as comfortable as possible and they followed up with me onext day to check on me and let me know that I can contact them or go to them if I am experiencing any issues.They are very professional and very knowledgeable.

Got my wisdom teeth removed here and it went by so quick! Dr. Yang is very kind, and I’m glad I had my procedure done here. He also called me later in the day to make sure everything was still going okay! The space itself was also very pretty, and they had plenty of chairs!

The request to write a review asked me to express how I felt about my choice to have Dr. David Yang perform the dental implant surgery I needed.Well, I didn’t make this choice. I was referred to him by another dental specialist who I hold in high regard. Had I selected somewhere else, I’d have never experienced the professional, knowledgeable and incredibly personable appointments with Dr. Yang. From the initial consultation to a preparatory surgery to the final step I felt like I was hanging out with a good friend who’d gained his expertise from multiple reputable educational institutions around the globe. I knew I was truly heard when we were face to face as well as during after care calls initiated by HIM personally. I mentioned his practice wasn’t a choice but I’m 100% confident he was my, and will be anyone’s best option. I’m so thankful to Dr Yang and the incredible team surrounding him. They all made a potentially traumatic process into appointments I looked forward to!
