Shape Up Dogs

Excellent instruction from skilled instructors. Small class size and beautiful facility are a bonus!

My dog, Scout and I participated in a six week Introduction to Agility course.Our instructor Ainsley was fantastic. She was patient, encouraging and understanding of all the different dogs needs and comfort. It was great to see the confidence of my dog grow over the program, and I look forward to practicing and learning more!Also the facility was clean, organized and easy to find/park.

My dog and I are loving the Dog Agility Classes we have taken! We have learned so much together and our instructor Bonnie is amazing! She all about building both of our confidences. LOL The dogs are rewarded with lots of treats and praise! It has been great for my mental health and fitness, yes you run too! We are looking forward to our next round of classes!! A great experience all around. The facility is clean and well kept. Our instructor, Bonnie is fantastic! She enthusiastically works with the dog and handler, gives lots of feedback and makes every class a lot of fun. We have started our third class with her and will be back again! Highly recommend!

Into our (Pittsburgh - toy poodle, age 2) second session and we both are loving it. Pittsburgh is my Diabetic Service dog so this is fun time for him.Our trainers have taken the time to show me how to give alternative commands to the ones I use for service. Trainers are very knowledgeable and take the time to instruct both dog and handler. I don't feel rushedExcellent facility, clean and follow Covid protocols. Both Pittsburgh and I highly recommend .. I give 5 stars and Pittsburgh gives 5 paws

I took my dog Lucy here and it was an amazing intro to agility. I’ve gone to other classes over the years with my old dog and it doesn’t compare. They don’t just help you do the obstacles they give you handling homework. They work on body positioning to give you the opportunity to compete later on! They also have a great walking space with a pond the dogs can enjoy.

I teach Conformation handling classes here and myself and my students love it!!! The footing is great for the dogs and for the people to run on. It is open and airy and spacious and bright. The equipment is all in good condition for those that run agility. This is an excellent training facility!

We have had a fantastic experience with Shape Up Dogs. We have two very energetic 6-month old Border Collie puppies (one who is extremely reactive and fearful of other dogs). The instructors are very experienced with a number of different breeds in each class, and cater the classes to the skill level, behavioral traits or quirks, and the needs of the trainers. I was very concerned with my one reactive dog, but the instructor ensured that when it was my pup's turn to work, she was in an environment where she was able to thrive and challenge herself to learn new skills. The instructors really know what they're doing - not only are my dogs learning more than I had ever hoped for, but I'm learning a lot too!The facility is easy to find, has ample parking, and is large, clean, and very well taken care of. The classes are great value for what you pay for, and the instructors were very flexible with my needs during a time when my work schedule was unpredictable.Thank you Shape Up Dogs!

Our experience with Shape Up Dogs has been great! The facility is well designed and gives plenty of open space for different obstacles in a very professional setting. The instructor we had, Bonnie, is beyond phenomenal at what she does. She not only helped us with our pup by meeting his needs each class, she also encouraged and worked with my 10 year old daughter. My daughter relationship with her pup grew along with a passion to one day becoming a junior handler. Bonnie's instruction and encouragement undoubtedly sparked this passion in agility for my daughter. Our 10 month old large breed rescue enjoyed learning, had safe exposure to new obstacles and grew his confidence. We look forward to returning to more classes in the future.
