The Moving Store

UPDATE:This is an update to my previous review where I wrote that UHaul charged me an extra 38% on top my what was, to my understanding, stipulated in the rental agreement. Sue, from the Moving Store, has made right the situation by connecting with head office, and then connecting with me to explain what happened. She has also refunded me the extra charges.I am impressed with her honesty and integrity, and I would do business with her again, knowing that she would make things right.

Lady in the store is very rude and talks down to you. I had a U-Haul truck ready for me, but their website went down and she didn't want to do anything about it. Fair enough, so I step outside call U-Haul (lady being fully aware of this), and when I came back inside she cancelled my order and gave the truck to someone else. While standing in the store shocked, I decided to call U-Haul again so they can arrange something else (which they did), the lady turns to me and talks down to me saying there is no truck for me, even though I wasn't talking to her. I came on time and waited 2 hours.The other dealers nearby are better. Trust me and avoid this witch.

Hands down the best place for all your supplies for moving! Prices of some things are a bit high compared to other places but THE VARIETY OF PRODUCTS IS UNMATCHED.Check out the pics ;)The service is really great also. Hours are limited so check out the pic of that also.They rent plastic bins if you don't want to buy cardboard boxes (guaranteed to be brand new) and they are a U-Haul dealer as well.Special shout out to Dennis who is extremely accommodating & service oriented! :DOh also they are way down at the back corner unit of the building.

Susan is friendly, super helpful and very knowledgeable. She even took the time to explain the weight/mass that each type of box could hold and suggestions on how to pack it. We bought a 1 bedroom package and it came with a lot of stuff. It was definitely worth it. Her prices are reasonable and the quality of the boxes, stickers, bubble wrap, etc. was solid. I'll be using her in future, and I'll be recommending her to my friends and family.

A Great overall experience renting a U-Haul from this location that I highly recommend to anyone. The store itself has some great options for moving with top notch customer service!

A step above professional service, the staff were personable, friendly, and helpful. The booking was easy. The equipment was taken care of and clean. The moving products they carry are good quality with a great price. Staff made accommodations to the best of their ability when a mistake was made on my end. An overall great experience. Would highly recommend this business.

The store charged us an extra $25 for cleaning fee. During the initial inspection, I mentioned to them that the van is very dirty, and they told me that it’s fine. But they still charged us a cleaning fee after we returned the car for their pre existing dirt.

Excellent customer service from Sue, I'm disappointed that I didn't know of this place for so many years of me living in North York. I highly recommend this location for moving supplies or U-Haul. I will definitely be coming here and recommending this place to friends and family.

This was the pickup/drop off location for my uhaul rental, however it was not the original location. Susan was very accommodating and really made the uhaul experience a lot more pleasant than the actual uhaul customer service reps over the phone. The other staff members were also very friendly. Thank you for making my move a little less stressful!

incredible experience! we arrived a bit after closing since google's hours were marked wrong, and the lady serving my dad and I wasn't even bothered about it! the service was great, and we really appreciate her kindness and patience. the place isn't too big so you're not overwhelmed by choice, and everything was easy to grab. would highly recommend for your box and moving needs!!!
