Frontline staff are lazy and judgmental. Supervisors and managers are great though. It's a toxic house, I would not recommend it to anyone

The salvation army is overrated. As is the shelter system in Canada. Rude, dirty, lack of nutritious meals. Supervision by disrespectful staff. Please think twice before donating to the Salvation Army org.

This is a women only homeless shelter, so how would a man know to give a review is anyone's guess.Their juice taste terrible like it was made with chlorinated pool water, food was ok.Large dormitory style as per crime wave's pictures. As per Megan Malone's review the dorm lacks fresh air. Despite two sets of washer/dryers, you have to sign up for 2 hour time slot and it's unlikely it will be the same day you sign up.As per any homeless shelter; always wear footwear. DON'T USE THE SHOWERS BAREFOOT, WEAR SLIPPERS, CHEAP WATERPROOF ie: flip flops from a dollar store, or what have you.
