Pretty cool place we weren't expecting on our trip

Beautiful view of the town of St Peters. Grounds lovely..flowers planted and well taken care of. Small canteen. Lighthouse looks like new. Flag of Nova Scotia flying nearby.

Beautiful view of St Peters Bay. We stopped here after lunch and appreciated the view while having our coffee. Not a lot of space to park vehicles by the lighthouse, plus no washroom available. We did not have time to explore the Battery Provincial Park.

The drive to the lighthouse is rather scenic, it's easier to see and access most of the places to safely pull over to take photos along the route after visiting the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself appears to be well kept, the grounds are well manicured and pretty. There's a small area for parking without having to go past the barrier for the campsite. I can't comment on staff as there weren't any around when I visited. Good views of the coastline make for a scenic location. The grounds are mostly flat and level around the lighthouse with grass surrounding the lighthouse itself. Easy access for ambulant people with disabilities who are able to traverse reasonably short grass but wheelchair users would likely struggle without assistance. The road is a gravel type with a few potholes. There's a hut and another small outbuilding opposite the lighthouse but the hut wasn't staffed when I was there. Worth a visit if you enjoy coastal scenery and/or lighthouses but bear in mind that you can't enter the lighthouse (as with most these days sadly).

Beautiful lighthouse located in Battery Provincial Park. Well maintained and a spectacular view. Picnic park is included in the park so you can either visit here for a day, or camp in the campground. Al facilities are well maintained, and the staff is fantastic.

Beautiful scenery lighthouse on Battery Provincial park entrance. It still public area where you don't need a park reservation to visit. Not much place to leave your vehicle thou. No public washrooms as well. It's nice to park at the beach and walk to lighthouse, a short but nice walk along cliffs and ocean on paved road. Staff on park will also be very friendly and helpful even if you're not registered.
