Stitch It Clothing Alterations & Dry Cleaning

DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE YOUR BUSINESS FOR ANY REASON.I took a brand new $250 pair of jeans, never worn with tags still on here for a hem as my regular tailor is across town and it was a busy week. I thought it would be fine as a hem is an easy alternation and wow was I wrong. I dropped the jeans off on Tuesday November 24th 2020 and picked up Friday November 27th. When I went to pick up the lady handed them to me and immediately walked into the back which should have been my first clue. After getting home later that day I went to try them on - I noticed right away the stitching was crooked on the hem and one leg was shorter than the other which kind of seems like one of the things you should probably get right on an alteration.Rather than take them back and risk having them messed up further, it now being the weekend I had time and took them to my real regular tailor to see if she could fix them. My regular tailor sent me the attached picture after taking apart the seams to try and fix the hem. Absolute and utter garbage quality of work - one leg is nearly half an inch shorter than the other and they were not cut evenly across. If you look closely you can see where the stitching was as well and exactly how crooked it was.This place has no business performing any type of alterations, let alone charging money for them. Because one leg was cut so much shorter than the other and crooked they cannot be fixed without the inseam becoming too short and are unwearable. Thank Stitch It for ruining a brand new pair of jeans and for being completely incompetent when it comes to alterations.

Dropped off a Jacket that needed the cuff hooks removed and repositioned to allow a better velcro cuff fit. I picked it up 2 hours later when I finished running other errons at the mall. Excellent job at a fair price. Very satisfied with the workmanship.

Professional ladies have done amazing work on 3 of the tares on my Jacket! I couldn’t even see or tell the difference in one of the places!

Amazing place!I have gone here 3 times within the last month for various items and amazing work has always been done. The women that work here are respectful and take pride in their work. I had to ask a huge favour and have 2 uniform items fixed quickly and they had them fixed by the end of the day, other items by the end of the week. All with great quality. I came in last week to get my new pants tailored for work. Picked it up yesterday so I can use it already, did not even let me try it first just to make sure if it’s the one that I asked for. When I tried it at home, both pants were different size when its not supposed to be like that. I called the store and asked if they can do something about it, I found it rude when the person on the phone that answered keep saying “Yeah ok bring it in”, I asked if I’ll be paying for it if they made changes again, I got a respond “Well I don’t know we’ll see” which I found it pretty rude. Paid $102 for just two of my pants and they did not even do it properly. Its my first time and will never go again. I also got charge too much based on how much they adjusted my waist, and the length that I said was supposed to be just one inches cut, it was twice the cut that they did. I’m very frustrated as these were my two pants. No greetings and I found the people here looks so judgemental when I walked in.

Took my brand new Boss pants there for a simple hem. They came back looking as if they had been crumpled in a ball and kicked onto the floor. This is the WORST hem job I've ever seen. These pants are ruined. I expect someone to make this right ASAP.Update: had them remove the stitching and the holes are still prevalent.

They did a fantastic job hand stitching the alterations required to my sequins dress and sheer jacket. Also hemmed my husband’s dress pants. Very reasonably priced and did it very quickly. Highly recommended for all your needs!!

NEVER RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO STITCH A NOTCH.I dropped 3 shirts for simple alterations. It was still brand new and imported. I paid for purchase and for import tax.Two of them were long and just needed to get them shorter at two different levels for front and back. I explained what I need and the lady put pins and I made sure that they knew what I wanted.When picked them I found that they have cut them at same level then get a piece of that part and stitch it back. Why would you cut it like that at the first place??? One of shirts were not even at front and is already cut shorter than I requested.That can’t be fixed it is already shorter than the other side.So poorly done! Never recommend!

they didn’t actually repair several of my items. Asked to have the zipper replaced on several items which they didn’t do just put the slider back on the tracks and charged my for a zipper replacement. Then first time wearing these items the zipper comes off and I look and realize they didn’t do what I paid them for. Also paid them to repair a ripped seem, picked up my items and realized they didn’t sew the seem so I had to go back and have them do it. They’re polite but not great work and charge you for services that they do not perform.

1. No greetings when I entered the store2. Unwelcoming looks on the store lady's face3. Hurridly took the pants for work without properly listening4. A guy comes after me and the lady goes to serve him first5. Then, she passes her computer keyboard to me and tells me to type first and last name for the order without even asking me for first or last name: this shows she's not trained enough to deal with people coming from different ethnicities and may have a phobia of foreign names.6. Then tells me it will take 5 days to complete this simple work. The shop's front board says: Work done on the same day or pick up next day. Well, you could ask for a couple of days to finish the simple task but sure cannot tell clients to come back in 5 days. The competition does it in 2 days.So, I did not place the order, just scooted out of the shop and wouldn't come back.
