Here's a story with a happy ending.I recently had cataract surgery and ordered a new exam and pair of glasses. All went well until I received my new glasses. They were terrible. I couldn't read anything without lifting the glasses up so I could see out of the bottom 1/4 inch of the lens.( Progressive lens). They didn't fit! I brought them in and FYI were shocked at the bad fit.They then spent several hours with me getting frames that fit properly, ordered new lens, replaced everything, spent another hour making sure the fit was right when the new glasses came in.They applied the cost of my previous glasses straight across so I didn't have to pay anything.That's TERRIFIC service.

I experienced an ocular migraine for the first time and was a little panicked. They took me in within a couple hours and we’re very calm and nice with me. I also appreciated that they took the time to educate me on what I had experienced.

I have been coming to this location since I was a kid. Have had absolutely nothing but great experiences with them. Last year one of my nose pads completely broke off (not their fault. I had previously worked in a environment that was quite rough on my glasses) they replaced the nose piece adjusted and cleaned my glasses, and when I asked how much they said no charge. Again due to my line of work, and what I do in my free time water had gotten in the nose pads as did hay dust and they were starting to get green yucky and causing my skin to have irritation (I also put it off too long getting this fixed) I walked in without an appointment as I Finally had a child free moment. I was kindly greeted at the door and they promptly replaced my nose pads and cleaned my glasses again. The gentleman also said as he walked up that he noticed they were sitting too low on my face so he had also fixed that for me (I quite often get hit in the face by animals whoops haha) I put them on and they felt SO much better and once again he stated because I was a client they were happy to help and didn’t charge for the minor cleaning and adjusting. I can’t wait to make an appointment to get my prescription updated with them once my benefits come through. This place is awesome!!

Excellent service! I walked in their office late this afternoon due to my prescription glasses missing one of its screws. Both ladies at the reception desk were both really nice and helpful. They fixed my glasses even without having an appointment and did not charge me anything. I recommend this place.

Took myself and my children to this location today for our eye exams because of a recommendation from my friend. The doctor was nice and knowledgeable however, I was incredibly disappointed when they charged me a copay fee for my child's eye exam (because he's over the age of 5). I was surprised needless to say when the receptionist said they needed to bill my extended medical" for one of my son's eye exams (which was denied because BC Medical pays for children's exams). When I asked her why (because MSP pays for children's exams until 18) she told me that the eye exam for over 5 years old is $83 and MSP only pays $47.08. I asked if this is a copay fee their office charges and she said yes. I have worked in 2 different Optometry offices previously and never have I heard of an Optometrist charging a copay for children exams. Absolutely outrageous. MSP pays for children's eye exams for a reason and to charge parents a copay fee is unnecessary.At the time of booking these exams for myself and children

Today I drive more relaxed. I moved very cautiously because my left eye was the first one for the correction surgery. This eye had always been wavy and not to clear. Before proceeding with my right eye FYI helped me to understand what I could expect after the right eye surgery. I moved from progressive to three pair and am delighted with the vision that I now have. I now have a pair for driving and almost everything else. I have a pair just for reading and another pair for me when on my computer. Good vision is part of a good life. I am a senior-senior and was treated to a wonderful experience at FYI .

Needed small repair on glasses, lost a screw. They searched through all their screws found the right one and fixed the frame in no time. Very friendly and helpful. I recommend this business to everyone in need of optometry services. Excellent.

We made an appointment for my mom and Dr.Gill could not have been more patient answering all of our questions during the exam.Rick, our optician helped my mom choose the correct glasses and he advised us with lots of care.We were given the discounts that applied without asking. Thank you for a great experience.

We had a great experience yesterday at FYI doctors Sardis. Katelyn was very friendly and helpful in finding suitable frames for my wife’s new glasses.Thanks again and looking forward to picking frames and glasses in the near future.
