I love the seating options and spacing between tables. A large bar with stools, small coffee table seating and booths with big comfy chairs.The food is great. Lunch menu is small and simple. Everything we ordered was very nice.I'm loving the Vancouver trend of tea based mocktails. It's nice to have a bit of variety. The Kegs Green Tea Mule" is a $6 bargain."

Went there for a girls night.The service was just good, nothing special. Food and drinks were excellent. Staff were knowledgeable in the various food and drinks offered. I would recommend the Keg on Dunsmuir for a casual dinner with friends.

Great food and nice ambiance. Had the New York Strip and the burger. Both were delicious. Twice baked potatoe was amazing too. Amazing staff, friendly and welcoming.

Shockingly quiet for a Friday night; friendly staff and good tasting food. Convenient location. Only downside was being repeatedly buzzed by a lone fruit fly; undoubtedly attracted to the spilled-citrus smell lining the bar.

Worst Keg! Had prime rib and asked medium. It came as half well done and half medium rare. The regular bread also tasted weird and not as good as other locations. What happened to this one?? So disappointed.

Great service and cozy ambience with a second floor seating option. The lobster tails were delicious with melted butter. All the food was very good. Wish the mushroom Neptune came with more than 2 little buns to make it easier to share since it has 6 mushrooms. The complimentary warm table bread with cheese butter was wonderful.

Growing up I always knew the keg existed, however I would only go very sparsely on a birthday or some sort of occasion. Then as I traversed my way through puberty and began maturing and becoming more independent the only reason I would ever go to the keg was when my aunt and uncle would give me a gift card. I feel like a lot people were like that. I used to be under the impression the keg was pretty mid and reasonably overrated. Now that I am mostly an adult my views on many things have changed. I attended this keg for my birthday last year and was very pleasantly surprised. I now see the Keg as reliable, consistent, and trusty. Yes I know those are all synonyms but I just feel that sums the Keg up pretty well. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and our server was very kind when I informed him I had clogged one of the toilets. The food is super solid to be honest. Obviously better steak houses exist but often those come at a much steeper price tag. I have also returned since with some friends for the happy hour. Which I once again was pleasantly surprised with. Keg burger was like $18-$20 and very tasty and drink specials were reasonably solid. It also happened to be a half off bottles of wine day and we all got a bottle of this shockingly tasty white for like $22. Overall if you want consistency in food, price, service the Keg is a very respectable option.

The food and service here is top notch! Everything is prepared with care and quality ingredients. I believe that the prices here are more than reasonable for what you get. The NY strip was cooked to perfection(medium well for the hubby) and my salmon was perfect as well. My gin cocktail was so light, bright, and yummy! The desserts(chocolate cake and creme brulee) were decadent and ridiculously good. I can't say enough good things about this meal. A big thank you to the whole staff and our server Colin!
