Mogiana Coffee

I have been really impressed with the quality of the coffee at Mogiana. I discovered them at a Vancouver Farmers Market and then searched out their Coffee Roasting Facility in Burnaby. I caught them early on a Monday morning while they were doing a coffee tasting, yet, they took the time to walk me through their retail space and explain their different coffee roasts to me. I have tried a number of their blends and their specific espresso beans. Overall I have been happy with every bean I have tried and I keep ordering more. I really recommend that you check out their facility and especially their coffee beans. You won't be disappointed!

The BEST specialty coffee you will ever find in Vancouver. Straight from their own farm in Brazil to British Columbia, they roast one of the best selection of coffee beans there is and they are open to the public to show how it's done. Bringing the community together through share of knowledge is what makes them more than just coffee roasters. Keep up with the excellent work, Mogiana team!

Simply, my favourite coffee and it’s not even close. They’re approachable experts who can help find your roast and educate you on best preparation practices. Worth the visit in South Burnaby!

I have been drinking Mogiana coffee for over 5 years now. Having a 2nd cup right now. It simply cannot be beat, especially their French roast. I buy 6 two pound bags at a time.Their company, people and business ethics are also unmatched. Just look into what they’ve done for generations for their coffee growers.(And yes, they will give you heck if you tell them that you store your coffee in the freezer.)Just when I thought they couldn’t improve, they came out with their coffee dry rub for proteins.Try this one:2 boneless skinless chicken thighs per person.Pat chicken dry with paper towel.Sprinkle generously on both sides with Mogiana Coffee Dry Rub. Massage spices in.Put in refrigerator uncovered for 30 minutes.Take chicken out of refrigerator. Put on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.Preheat oven to 425F.Bake with smooth side up for 12 minutes.Flip over and bake another 8 minutes.Let rest 3-5 minutes before serving.Final step: Wish you had made more than 2 per person. You are responsible for the fights that ensue over who gets the last piece.

You want to try this coffee!! I have tried dozens of coffees and this is in my top 3. the Mogiana Expresso Roast is particularly special if you like buttery crema, chocolate and caramel notes. As you can see from pictures great packing, nice personal touch and what I love best is supporting a company with a personal family story.

This is by far one of best coffee places in Vancouver. Their espresso blend is sweet, rich, and very well balanced and I can actually see the quality in the beans.Hailey was very knowledgeable about their coffee line and their whole production process. I will definitely continue getting my supply from here.Thank you!

I found this place today!This shop is not so quite easy to be found but after found it, I love it.In the beginning, I expected this store to be a normal coffee shop but turns out it is a professional roast shop and they have their own coffee bean farm.Having a farm means they could control the quality of their beans.I tried the tester today (because the other one is new roasted and needs to wait 3 more days to open) and found out It's quite lovely. I mean I would love to have a cinnamon-medium roast one, which could be tasted more flower, berry, and fruit flavor; however, this medium roast coffee bean surprised me.It has white flowers aroma; berry and orange when tasting.Can't wait to try the other beans!!

Wow! Amazing coffee selection...rich, delicious notes in the cup every time. Rarely do you get the chance to experience a brew with the same chain from farm to roaster. Pure Brazil! Try their selection if you haven't already.

By far the best coffee I've ever had - their Espresso Roast has become my absolute favorite. It tastes how I have always wanted coffee to taste. Highly recommend everyone give their coffee a try, you will not be disappointed!
