After living in the States for some years, i haven't found a good stylist/colourist and waited until i got back to Canada to see Gabby, whom I'd seen some years ago. Well worth the wait. The colour is fabulous and natural and the haircut is phenomenal. I'm so pleased and feel so much better right now.... Like a regained identity! Thank you!

Gabby is a great stylist. She listens to exactly what you want. She does my highlights and I am always so happy with the result. She also cuts my hair and is intent on making sure the client gets what they are asking for. Would highly recommend her!

Went in for my consultation and told my hairdresser that I wanted blonde balyage. I emphasized that I wanted to read as a blonde. He then started using a bunch of jargon I wasn't familiar with but I assumed he understood what I was asking for. He offered to do a half head of foils... I didn't fully understand what this meant but I verified that I would get the look I wanted based on my reference photo. When we finished the color, it was thin white stripes against my dark hair. I have very curly hair, so even the way these highlights were done showed they didn't know how to highlight curly hair. The highlights were extremely fine and it was not at all what my reference photo looked like. I left baffled and bewildered and called the next day to see what could be done. They only offered to put a darker toner over it but that did nothing but cover the issue. I verified what I requested, brought reference photos, and was still not given what I asked for. It was then expected that I pay out of pocket to fix this mistake. I asked to be blonde and I left a zebra. The stylist assumed I had financial restrictions so gave me a less expensive option instead of communicating that what I wanted would cost more (which I was ok with). I'm sure other stylists there are ok, but this was traumatizing.

From the moment I stepped through the door, to the final touches on my new style, my experience was five stars all around. Everyone at Supernova is so professional yet relaxed and super friendly. My shampoo was heavenly! and of course who doesn't enjoy a good cup of coffee during their cut? Lucas was very attentive and spent lots of time reading" my hair and listening to my ideas and looking at the photos I brought for style inspiration. I really appreciated his care and attention to my special concerns. Thank you Lucas for such a beautiful cut and your styling and care suggestions. You made me feel amazing! I look forward to my next appointment with you."

Slightly worried about posting a review for Braden @Supernova. He is an amazing stylist and if he gets too busy I may not get to sit in his chair.I have never been disappointed at the Salon and have a great experience every time.Braden I LOVE my hair

Honestly I’ve been scared to go to anyone for years as my original stylist damaged my hair a few times. I’m 34 now so my hair wasn’t what it once was. I felt it was time to move on from my original girl, and my hair being on its way to health, I figured maybe a consultation at supernova would be the right way to start. I saw all the positive reviews so I decided to give it a shot! And I’m so happy I did. Thanks to Bella, My hair feels and looks so pretty. So many compliments today. There wasn’t much I could do as the bottoms are still damaged but with so little to be done, she killed it ! Did such a beautiful job. Thank you so much for taking proper care of my damaged hair and being extremely diligent. My hair has always been so important to me and the last few years it’s been dead, damaged and weak. I feel amazing today ! I’m so glad I got over my fear and decided to go for it, won’t be going anywhere else in the future. Thanks again !Rahna

I had an extremely good experience here. I felt understood and the hairdresser made me feel as though she was on my team. She was accommodating and kind. Also the inside of the salon is very high quality and I believe they charge a reasonable price for their service. Their online booking situation was a bit tricky though
