Dairy Queen (Treat)

Kathy did an amazing job on my custom made DQ wedding cake! It was always my dream to have ice cream cake for my wedding and the amazing customer service at King St. Dairy Queen made it happen and everyone was pleased. The sunflowers were so beautiful!

Have been getting Dilly Bars, Monkey Tails, Cones and Blizzards here for 50 years. The owners are wonderful and really care about product quality as well as safety during the pandemic.Three important points to mention are:There is no Brazier service to speak of.There is plenty of parking (10-15 cars).This is a seasonal restaurant.

Small place with very limited table . Friendly and energetic staff . Quality of the ice creams is above average and taste good .

Came in to buy a cake, basically no service provided in picking a cake, just a “no we don’t have it”. I end up buying from whatever they have and come to pick it up the next day, already paid for and told I need to wait in line, behind about a dozen people that all need to have products made meanwhile I have already paid for the cake and just need to pick it up. Makes no sense to me that they’d rather add more people to the line than just hand me the cake. First and last time visiting this location. The staff has absolutely no sense of customer service, they aren’t even polite when addressing you. I don’t see any sense in arguing over it, so instead I will just leave this review.

I can recall in days of old, coming here on Friday’s after school. Back when hard ice cream was still a menu item! (Purple/Pink/Green Neapolitan was the best)With 30+ years of visits, it’s still my choice for a frozen pick-me-up. Kathy and Sue have always provided a wholesome and friendly atmosphere!Staff are always polite, friendly, and eager to assist. Line ups on hot summer days are a testament to the quality provided, and while menu offerings have changed/adapted over the years that quality has remained.I will always recommend grabbing a bag of frozen treats before the seasonal close!A true pillar of downtown Preston!

Amazing ice cream. Made right every time.

The blizzard turned liquid after 4 minutes I bought it on a Saturday afternoon. You can do better than this. Having a messed up burger or onion ring at DQ is bearable but a blizzard is DQ’s signature product and it shouldn’t be like this. It like getting a warm coffee at Tim’s.

Quite a few in the area. Most seem to think this is the best however there's no seating area outside unlike the others.

Fast, save and convenient because ordering, payment and pick up. Order was done quickly and with the quality I'd expect from Dairy Queen

Best spot for all your ice cream needs, great location with great views of downtown.
