Had a lovely experience with the grooming services today! I originally had my dog booked to be groomed at pet smart on erb st well they verbally abused me and gave me false information on why they couldn’t groom my small dog. So I called pet valu NH and told them what happened and they got me in the same day and it was such a relief my anxiety is much better now. I will definitely be returning back for grooming services!

We adopted a cat from this business nearly a month ago through Wagtime Rescue. Unfortunately we promptly discovered that under their care, she never received the vaccinations/medical attention that she was allegedly provided under the adoption contract. A few days after bringing her home, we realized something was wrong with both her and our other cat. After taking her to the vet that was alleged to have done the vaccinations, she informed us that she never did them. Not only that, but both of our cats were now sick with what she was supposed to be vaccinated against. We are now over $500 in vet bills.This is borderline animal abuse through medical neglect, which we are struggling to make right.We informed this Pet Value about what was going on and although they were compassionate, they never followed up. I am at a loss as to how this business can work with such a deplorable organization.

Brought my cat in for a nail trim. HORRIBLE experience! I felt that it was taking too long, so I went back to check. One lady had my cat by the scruff shaking his head while the other was attempting to clip him. He was growling, hissing and clearly not comfortable in ANY way!! I knocked on the glass to stop them. This was a truly TRAUMATIC experience for both my fur baby and myself! They should have tried and once realized they couldn't do it, came out and told me! His well being means more to me than his claws! Once home and seeing he was clearly upset, I began petting him and big clumps of fur fell into my hands from his neck! He is currently hiding in the basement! He used to go into the kennel with ease but after that trauma, I doubt that he will ever again!!

Fantastic group of employees who are passionate about pet care. Their pet wash station is always fully stocked and clean. I would highly recommend it.

I've been a customer of the New Hamburg Pet Valu since it opened, and have been consistently impressed with their above-and-beyond customer service. They recently hunted down a product for me that was listed on the website as out of stock, and then offered to go pick it up for me (!) and have it ready by next day! The staff here are amazing, friendly, efficient and professional, and take an honest interest in the well-being of your pets ... they know their customers by name, whether you have two legs or four :)

Very friendly staff, clean store and a lovable cat to see everytime you go.

Had our two dogs groomed today by Steffie. She did a wonderful job. Our oldest pup has had to be sedated at the vets to get her nails trimmed but Steffie managed to get it done! We are very happy with her work and will definitely return.The whole staff was very pleasant and courteous.Thanks Steffie. Great job.

The store in New Hamburg was very knowledgable and helpful on getting the proper supplies and food for new puppy owners.

We take our dog here for grooming. In in all fairness, we followed our trusted groomer when she moved to this location, and we would follow her if she moved again. The store staff have been great to deal with.

My pup has been going to them since they opened for grooming. He absolutely loves them and immediately wags his tail when he spots the store. He’s very squeamish with his front paws but they were able to keep him calm and clip them with no issues. The store is clean, staff is well informed and supplies are great!
