Don’t recommend for your freedom mobile needs. I went to this store and they had horrible costumer service, I mean to the point where they were talking about how we were “cheap” and looking at a iPhone 8 Plus was too expensive compared to a iPhone 8. I hated the way he spoke to me and I have done the rest of my needs online and through phone. In fact, when we purchased a new phone from them they opened up the phone themselves and started it while without care slightly dropping it on the table without a case. Like, it’s so informal. Please get better associates, I work in costumer service and I would be fired for something like this

I bought an iPhone XR from here about 3 years ago for $0 down and a 20gb data plan for about $110 a month for 2 years. After the 2 years was over, my payment went down to $80 a month because my phone was fully paid off. While the phone itself is great and even till this day I haven’t had any issues with it, the main issue i’ve had is the coverage that freedom has. Freedom only covers the big cities in ontario, mainly the GTA and ottawa area. If you ever plan on leaving the city to go somewhere, you can expect to not have any access to your data. You will need to turn on roaming in your settings to use data and it costs around $20 a day to use. Roaming uses the Nationwide network which is decent, but I’ve run into several issues with it in the past.If I were you, I would not buy any data plans from freedom. It is simply not worth it for the price you pay. $110 a month could have got me a similar plan or better from a larger carrier like rogers or bell which have amazing coverage that covers almost every inch of ontario. This post is not to put freedom on blast, but it is simply to educate those who don’t really know what they’re getting into. Freedoms cheap prices may seem enticing, but don’t be fooled by their lack of coverage.

We purchased a phone as a Christmas present. Tried to pick up before Christmas. It was not ready until after Christmas. We tried to pick up on Boxing day. Again, it was not at the store. It does not matter how many times you call after this, the point is you had agreed to have it before Christmas. Very disappointing service. No apologies, just excuses. It is also unacceptable that the staff was not wearing his mask on properly. It's also noted that he was talking to customers on another occasion and had his mask pulled down below his chin. As a healthcare worker, I have to pay for your ignorance. You breathe through your mouth and nose. Or at least follow public health's distancing recommendation.

Although I have seen negative reviews on google, I am happy to say I had a positive one. I went into Freedom today to switch to a new phone/plan. At first, I came in to see that their servers were down.. I was a little disappointed and was told to come back in half hour. That was no problem, as I had other errands to run. When I had come back, a very lovely lady by the name of Summer, was happy to help me through my transition. She explained everything to me in detail, clarified any confusion I had, and overall, helped me through every step. She also made small talk with me, which I ALWAYS appreciate in customer service. I feel like she lifted a load off my shoulders, made me feel welcome and made me feel like my needs were important. I really appreciate everything she did today! I am looking forward using Freedom. Thank you Summer !

DON'T GET FREEDOM!! Worst service due to dropped service, even in the gta. I spent $400 last month. It took a month of calling to finally get a supervisor and all they offered was $5 off for 6 months in order to lock me in to get my compensation. DON'T GET FREEDOM!!!!

Less than 1 star. Unhelpful. Called Freedom, was told I could go to ANY store to make a change to my account. Went to this store and they dismissed me and refused to even try. Called Freedom again and was told it could be done. It's a dealer store who just want to make money, not provide any helpful service to existing customers.

The plague was bad.Freedom Mobile is worse.Terrible network with the phone constantly hunting between LTE and 4G. I had calls go to voicemail in full coverage zones completely unbeknownst to me.I returned the phone after a few days and invoked the 15 day trial period. I spent the better part of a month suffering the complete and utter incompetence of the Freedom Mobile staff. In short, they gave me a hard time about returning the phone when I was well within my legal right. At one point, they even charged my credit card the full purchase amount. The staff at this store were extremely unprofessional and have no notion of customer service. Here’s some advice, stick to speaking English instead of Hindi when you’re on the phone with your manager in front of a customer. The Freedom Mobile national call center staff are clearly wrought with bureaucracy and lack the ability to properly and quickly escalate complaints.Positive: The parking spots in front of the store are a great way of accessing the other shops and eateries in this plaza.Overall Impressions: AVOID

Horrible customer service. The gentleman inside is rude and dismissive. Went in to get a sim card transferred and the screen protective put on and he rudely stated that this was a simple task we could do by ourselves. I have done this at other Wind/Freedom stores, where the sales people were extremely kind enough to assist me without shaming me on the complexity of this task. He made no attempt to help, and looked annoyed that we were even there. Very disappointing, especially when you consider that this 'essential service' is supposed to be customer oriented. Do not recommend the sales associate at Walkers Line.

Absolutely terrible service, I have also contacted the company directly to express my dismay.I popped in in July to purchase/activate a SIM card with a simple prepaid service as I was only in the country for two weeks. The man working at the time was fine, as I am a Canadian citizen living abroad I discussed with him being able to top up online and what not for when I come home.I am home again now and I was unable to add on online so I went in with my parents - my mum was looking to switch to Freedom as well. The man working there, Rishabh, was dismissive, inattentive, and not knowledgeable. He told me that after three months of no use the SIM card gets cancelled as well as the number so I would have to pay and activite a brand new one. I expressed frustration that I wasn't told this in the first place or I wouldn't have signed up. While discussing this he did not seem clear on what I was saying, all the while he was receiving personal calls (which he did ignore) before finally putting his personal phone away.Another customer came in to buy a phone case which he helped while I was still having a conversation with him. It was quick so I wasn't particularly bothered, he made the transaction with her then just stood at the computer before initiating conversation with me - I looked at the woman he had just helped and asked him to give her her phone case she had just purchased. He then handed it to her and she had to follow that up by asking him to then give her back her original case, her phone itself, and her receipt. She could tell he was being extremely unhelpful to me, as she left she wished me good luck.He then said this happens after two months of inactivity, then he said after one month, as I said, it was evident that he wasn't exactly sure what he was talking about. He tried to make multiple excuses saying that I would have to go to the location I signed up at to which I said *again* that this was the location I signed up at.I could go on in much more detail but I hope this gets the point across.

I was ripped off by the guy at this location. I think he enjoys screwing with people for fun. I paid for a phone and a prepaid plan which he did not activate, when I came back he asked me to pay again. I ended up getting a refund for everything. Thanks for nothing Rishbah.
