Not worth it. They don't clean the working space between clients and are very focused on upselling another product instead of focusing on the client and what they need at the moment.

I highly recommend going to this hair salon if you stay in Markham or Scarborough. Hair stylist Natasha" was too good. I had a great conversation with her throughout. I had a stunning hair cut and was completely a changed man after months of lockdown.I cannot vouch on other hair stylists than Natasha as I always had services from her. You'll definitely have a great experience."

I went to this salon after going around to multiple different salons. I finally decided to get my hair cut at this salon. I had waist-hip length hair that I spent 3 to 4 years growing out. I liked having my hair long so I went for a little trim. I mentioned this numerous times and reminded my hairdresser to not cut it too short. However. by the end, my hairdresser had cut about 5 inches off. Now my hair only reaches my mid-back.

I don't usually like trying new places but my hair stylist was on vacation so i decided to try this place out. Man were the people really nice and helpful! I'm really picky when it comes to hair cuts, shes done a really good job making me feel comfortable and cuts it the way you want, step by step. Really good place if you want an affordable and good cut for men.

I recently visited Markham and needed a haircut ASAP for a gathering. Decided to drop by First Choice Haircutters. One of the hairstylists, Richard did a really good job on my hair. I showed him a reference on my phone and he was able to pull it off. I would definitely recommend him to others. Haven't had a good haircut in awhile.

Lilly was very good. She did my eyebrows and hair cut. Very friendly and easy to chat with. My hair isn't easy to work with and she did an amazing job!

I’ve been going here for years and always been happy. Now the new manager here says that neck trims are to be charged for at the same price as a haircut. The price menu board clearly indicates at the bottom that Neck and Moustache Trims are Complimentary. I showed the manager this on their board and she refused service. I told her I would escalate to their head office. She said she is the head office. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. I will not be returning to this brand after more than two decades of customer loyalty.

This place told me there is a wait time of 30 minutes; I told them I only have an hour to have a quick cut, and was assured I'd be taken on time. I went to a nearby store to kill the 30 minutes and when I returned, the hairdresser told me it would be at least another hour (on top of the half hour) to see me, due to a clients hair not taking" color enough

My hairstylist, Mai, pulled my shirt down from the back to check if I was wearing anything inside my sweater when I told her I felt uncomfortable taking off my sweater for the cut. I did not think much of it when it happened two days ago, but now I really think that was not appropriate to be yanking my sweater down. Will not be coming back. I understand that the sweater may have been an issue but I have been to places that have allowed me to wear it. I just don't think that was appropriate to be doing that.

I have curly hair, and I asked for an inch to be cut off. I said that I wanted to keep my curls and fringe. The hairstylist agreed, then proceeded to cut off at least 5 inches of my hair. I'm nearly bald. I have never been so upset after a trip to the salon. Biggest waste of $15... I could've bought myself a good medium well done steak. Instead I paid to look like a raw slab of steak.
