Mid Island Paving did a great job on our driveway. We needed to grade our driveway out to the street to deal with rainwater and grade issues. They installed a 20 foot apron the width of the driveway and flared it out to match the city street. It was a complicated job from a grading perspective but they carried it out perfectly. They did the work for the price quoted and it was done on schedule. Highly recommend them for your paving needs.

The crew did a great job removing all the old asphalt and preparing the site. When paving they ensured it was sloped for water run off and smoothed out. Thank you for your attention to details.

Ed is a trustworthy, personable, and organized owner of Mid Island Paving. He had a crew of 7 guys within a short period of time to do our driveway for half of the price of Duncan paving. They did an awesome job and we have received many compliments for our driveway.

It has been four months since Mid-Island paved my driveway. I contacted the owner, Ed because I had some concerns: there were porous spots and a lot of roller marks on over half the driveway. I remined him of his verbal guarantee to the work...he said he'd come by and look at the job. That never happened. Sad to say, after numerous other calls went unanswered and an email requesting a receipt for the job was sent, I have yet to hear back. The claims of customer satisfaction you might read on his website are, at least in my case, dubious and a complete fiction.If you want a mediocre job and no customer support, fill your boots.
