This was a last minute choice to stay on our way south. My first inclination to not stay there should have been the pee smell as at the front desk. While the rooms looked clean, the microwave had food remnants in it, the toilet handle was broken and the light in the bathroom didn't work. The beds are lumpy.

I arrived late at night, after check-in, and the owner still got up and checked me in. It was a cute little motel off of the highway, with all of the wanted conveniences close by. The beds were comfy and it was quiet. It has an older decor, but a certain charm to it. It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly!

I stayed here for 30 days working up at Otter rapids generating station.I spent a week with no heat... The wifi cut in and out. The worst part was the East Indian owners from Toronto tried to squeeze more money out of me after promising me 65 a night. I wasn't the only one either. At least 3 other guys I worked with said the same.The only reason this once great motel is still in business... is because he's the only motel in town.

Gross rooms, DISGUSTING washroom. We arrived late after booking earlier in the afternoon, and had specifically booked a pet friendly room…upon arrival, the desk person was shocked to hear we had pets and wasn’t happy, but put me in a room anyhow all while giving us the impression this room would be too nice for our 3 five pound dogs…it was so gross, but we were in the middle of nowhere, and exhausted from the long day of driving. If you can book elsewhere, i recommend that you do.

Cozy, comfortable and clean rooms to stay in! Very quiet and peaceful area. Employees were very friendly and helped us out whenever we needed. Headed up there for a week stay and enjoyed the whole experience. Great restaurant next door as well!
