It all started in 2016 - Some buddies and I decided that we absolutely needed to paddle on the Churchill River as quickly as possible. Why? I'm not sure to this day, but I have no regrets now that we decided to do it.To say most of us were inexperienced would be an understatement at the time, but we did one thing right - we went and visited Classic Outdoors as we were discussing our trip.We walked in met some outstanding people, who took the time to help us understand what we were getting into, set us up with maps, rental canoes, some gear, and a ton of really good advice. (We needed a lot of the latter)We managed to survive 5 days in the North (thanks to our 1 experienced paddler) and became addicted to the Northern Saskatchewan landscape. Fast forward to 2022 - we have been on at least one trip every year since. and plan for many more.The one constant has been to stop in and chat with Jonas while picking up a pieces of great gear (Get the Agawa folding saw!) they stock before each trip.We've had nothing but great service and support over the years and a trip wouldn't feel like a trip without a stop in before and after with the team at Classic. Go here for your paddling needs, you won't be sorry you stopped in.

Amazing paddle shop end up buying 2 kayaks from here and just amazing service amazing inventory! Drove in from edmonton to pick up the yaks and well worth the drive! If you need, want or are interested in any paddle sports just come here first! Can’t say enough good things.

This is our favorite place to check out Kayak/Canoes and other related items. They carry Cargo Carriers as well and we got all the best information on them from their knowledgeable staff. They even helped us install it before we left so we knew what we were doing before we left. We also recently bought some Adult PFD's and couldn't be happier with the quality. The staff is so great, they offer tonnes of information on local canoe and kayak spots, and even though we didn't buy our kayak from them, they are eager to have us bring ours in to show them! Love this store!

Hands down the best place in town to buy all your kayaking / canoeing gear. They carry the best brands & the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We just bought another kayak from them yesterday for my dad. He was looking for something sleek and comfortable for long excursions. Jonas knew exactly what he was looking for and sold him the Cadillac of Kayaks and all the gear he needed to get paddling! At a great price too! I will be back soon to shop for a kayak for my wife!

What a great store to meet all your watersporting needs! From beautiful paddles to high quality canoes, kayaks and paddleboards, this store does not disappoint. I was looking for a Thule Portage Canoe Carrier and they were the only place I could find it in Saskatoon, at an even better price than Amazon! They also have an excellent selection of maps to plan some great Saskatchewan waterway adventures. Highly recommend for all those who love paddling.
