Energized by fellow garden and flower lovers on the bus, what a let down when we got there! The Home Show almost took over what we went for - a touch of spring! No fresh flowers to speak of, where the colours and scents took over- just stuff we see every day at the Home Show. Too bad we missed the waterfall and trees - it was just too easy to get lost. Sorry, but it was a disappointment.

Never miss it! By far the largest flower show in Canada. It is separate from the Home Show, but admission gets you into both. A lovely taste of spring in March, with plenty of inspiration.

What happened to all the big flower/landscape displays? It was nice but disappointing from years past. Spots will need to be cheaper or free for landscaper to want to spend all that time setting up and being there a week.

Agree with general comments that this venue has started to lose its Bloom.I found the food court worse than other years! Sad to say I see no reason to tell my friends or my family they should go to Canada Blooms or Home Show?Home show feels tired- same old same old. Glad I had free tickets...

I’ve been going to the show every year since 1997. It used to be a magnificent exhibition of dream landscapes, quality vendors and inspiring ideas. We paid $60 + $16 for parking to bring the family down, as the theme this year was “A Family Affair”. Apart from a couple of gardens that had sport courts incorporated in their design, the show was extremely underwhelming, small and seemed to focus on flower arranging rather than landscapes. I am so disappointed and wish I hadn’t spent $76 to get in. It is most likely my last show.*Regarding Home Show: So many exhibitors were on their phones and not interested to engage or explain their products. Why spend thousands of dollars to be an exhibitor if you’re just going to stare at your phone?*

Not worth the money. Lots of the flowers were wilted (and it's still supposed to go on for another week!!) and not that many of them in general. Feels like it is slowly being taken over by the home show and a general sales bazaar. Save your $20 and go to a mall or watch the shopping channel if you need to buy stuff.

Canada Blooms 2020 & 2021 shows were cancelled due to the pandemic but as a volunteer, it was very sad to see the mostly completed gorgeous fresh displays, prepared for 2020, go to waste!

Canada blooms is a misnomer. More landscaping companies and sales booths. Not sure if there are any requirements to become an exhibitor at the home show .

This show should not be called Canada Blooms anymore. The show has really deteriorated. I temember the first show at the Congress Centre .What a joy.Even when it moved to the MTCC - south building the show was great. It was sad last yearThe saddest flower and garden show ever.

What happened to the Canada Blooms show for 2019 It did not seem to be in bloom.Too many darkened areas .Not enough proper lighting .We have been going to Canada Blooms show since they were at the Toronto Congress Centre and then at the Metro Convention Centre .Have never missed a show. We have also volunteered in various roles in some of those years.Since they have partnered with the national home show ,they don't seem to have a show of their own .Every year the blooms show has been downsized to a smaller venue with the home show taking up most of the floor space and building.More emphasis has been placed on over priced landscape companies . This year there was only 4 realistic gardens to walk through, compared to 10 to 12 in previous years. The lectures in the staging area, given by the big name pros" have nothing fresh to add. All the info in their talks can easily be found on the internet. Most of these pros push products by companies that have sponsored their appearance at the show or that they have a vested interest in.The Marketplace has been turned into a hallway with most booths at half the square footage than all other years. Most of the products in the marketplace have nothing to do with gardening or planting.Every year they also have flea market style vendors with the typical slice and dice theme selling their wares. This area has also been greatly downsized from previous shows. On the plus side the flower show competition has always been done well
