Toronto Family Hearing

I booked an ear wax removal appointment with TFH after having gone to an ENT in the past for a similar issue, and picked TFH specifically because they offered a suction option, unlike many other clinics in the city. My ear was so clogged that I had lost partial hearing and drugstore options like ear wax removal drops, etc. hadn't done anything to help.Paxton, the audiologist who did the removal, was fantastic -- she explained every step of the process and why she was choosing one method of removal over another. Because of the wax buildup, she couldn't see my ear drum and thus couldn't be sure how deep my ear canal was, so she decided to start with the water flushing. That's all we needed! She got all of it out in one appointment, compared to my ENT who needed two sessions despite using the suction method. She was clear and communicative about each step of the process, made sure I was comfortable as we progressed through the session, and offered follow up care suggestions for home that, again, my ENT never shared with me.I can definitely recommend TFH for wax removal!

My experience for consistent tinnitus and popping in the ear. I was referred to the audiologist who detected hearing loss, which is supportable, but could only suggest hearing aid. I saw Dr.Tam who failed to even asked the nature of my tinnitus, how often I get an air-pressure popping sound but simply concluded that hearing aid would resolve my tinnitus, which is universally thought to be incorrect.

We had a lovely experience for my 3.5 year old and husband too - they both got their ears checked and it was a very positive time overall. Thanks!

Emailed them for an appointment.They replied that even if they dont remove the ear wax properly or the whole they would still charge me full price.I agree on the terms, they give me an appointment but i have to answer a few questions first like name date of birth etc..They never replied.I was scheduled for 5.30(they close at 5pm on google) today i tried emailing them and calls in vain.Needless to say that it’s unprofessional and i will go elsewhere.

For my first visit it was the most pleasant experience I’ve experienced in a Medical Office. Paxton Oliver-Bingham was very patient and informative when I asked questions. It was the best experience for ear cleaning services. Alexis friendly demeanour was very pleasant.

I visited the Citrus medical yesterday non related to a hearing appointment, however I saw the sign as I was walking in so I decided to stop by and ask about a hearing test for my dad. The reception upstairs directed me to the audiologist, Adele I believe her name is. She was available to answer all of my questions pertaining to my dad. She invited me in to take a seat, did not rush our time even though I had no appointment! She was very polite, professional and a great listener! She provided a lot of information and shared great knowledge! I will be making an appointment in the very near future! Thank you!

Small clinic but very pleasant staff. Amelia, the Patient Care Coordinator, is very welcoming and her positive attitude will definitely put a smile on your face. My audiologist is Melissa, who is very knowledgeable and accommodating, and always goes above and beyond to ensure your concerns are addressed. Overall, I highly recommend Toronto Family Hearing for their commitment to patient services. Just like the other reviewers, I have nothing but positive experiences to say.

I had to attend here after suffering with persistent pain inside my left ear for some weeks. I received a response to my enquiry within the hour and was quickly given an appointment.I had assumed it would likely be due to a build up of wax (a common issue for me) but the audiologist found that this time that wasn’t the case. Despite only booking for wax removal, they also performed a hearing test as well which was great.The team at the clinic are all very helpful and friendly.Would very much recommend.

had to pay for the ear wax removal service even tho no ear wax was needed to be removed.I understand paying a fee for the inspection but cmon, the whole fee for a service not being done? Was very surprised when finding out I still had to pay for the full service.

Very disappointed. Paid $80 dollars for an ear wax cleaning which was not given. Literally nothing.With that said, make sure you read the details before going or else you will end up getting scammed out of $80 and receive no service what so ever other than an ear check.I found their ear wax cleaning services on Google, scheduled an appointment because their clinic was fairly priced compared to others, however I received no cleaning upon inspection.The policy is a scam. I disagree with the policy that you pay the full price if the service is unable to be done - this policy should absolutely be revised. I went to another clinic a week later and received the service I asked for (ear wax was removed at the other clinic) after being told I had no ear wax by Toronto Family Hearing. And the service was at no cost by friends and family referral elsewhere. This is why I believe TFH’s business is scamming.My recommendation is to find a clinic that does free examination/assessment. Do your research and find a clinic that won't leave you with a chance of leaving unsatisfied.
