TACTICAL FIGHTING MARTIAL ARTS
Gary is a excellent teacher in all aspects of martial arts. His knowledge base and concepts are very practical and can be applied to any scenario. Ground, stand up and weapons is his specialty. If I was closer to his location, I'd be a daily practioner. I've been training with gary since 1996 and will continue to do so.

I have trained with Gary for many years, and will continue to do so for as long as possible. His knowledge base and understanding of what he teaches( and trains himself) is unparalleled. Gary not only trains students but also teaches them to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Classes are fun, energetic, and great to be a part of. A traditional approach to modern martial arts, with a great structure in self defence as well as competitive training. Do yourself a favour and sign up for a class and try it out for yourself.

I love training with Gary. He has dedicated most of his life learning and training in many Martial Arts systems, and is dedicated to pass on his knowledge to his students. He is highly skilled in FMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai Kickboxing, and Jeet Kune Do Concepts, and the list goes on. He is patient, dedicated, humble, level-headed, and respectful of everyone he meets and teaches. The classes are always very safe and fun. What I like most, is that he takes the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.There’s no other place I’d rather train.

One of the best MMA coaches in vancouver. Gary has been my instructor since I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a white belt. He is one of the best when it comes to teaching martial arts, very effective style of teaching and coaching, his style of street combat, Vale Tudo makes his style very effective for any setting or platform. I have won numerous competitions under his super vision and now able to teach the art to others using his teaching strategy and technique, Above all he is a great friend. Oss!!!!

Gary has a very high level of understanding of the essence of: Jeet Kune Do, the whole of the Filipino Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is a highly evolved martial arts instructor that continues to investigate, develop and grow at an astonishing rate. He is a patient, detailed instructor with a strong focus on attribute training. In my opinion, he is the best instructor in street based martial arts in the lower mainland.

I’ve been going to Tactical fighting for a few months now, and I only have good things to say about Gary.He’s a great teacher, especially for someone new like myself. Classes are challenging but the environment is friendly, encouraging, informative and just a lot of fun to be apart of. I feel great walking out of there and always look forward to coming back. First class instruction from a first class human being. Many years ago, he's opened my eyes to a vast multitude of martial arts disciplines and I've never looked back. He makes everyone feel welcome in his school and is extremely generous with his years of knowledge and experience. As well as being a great instructor, he is equally as great as a student as he continually strives to go out and improve his own knowledge base. I'd highly recommend meeting and training with Gary any day.
