The Inn on Officers Garden

I came here for a business meal and had a nice experience. The venue is clean and classy - definitely would be interested in staying a night here.My meal consisted of the beet and apple salad (the beets were very flavorful but didn't appreciate much by the way of the apple cider that went into it), beef tenderloin (it was more rare and therefore a bit more chewy than I would have liked - it was probably around 30-40% cooked; the horseradish potatoes were quite tasty and the spiciness of the horseradish did not overpower the plate), and vanilla bean brulee (the custard was smooth, creamy, and had a balanced sweetness but I would have preferred more vanilla bean flavor; the caramelized sugar layer was also a bit thick and I would have liked a thinner sheet like a wafer).Overall, I didn't feel the food stood out but it was a very enjoyable time and I would be interested in seeing what else The Inn has to offer.

We had dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday and I cannot understand where any of these five star reviews are coming from. What an absolute disappointment. We had to wait two hours for our food and when it came out our medium rare steaks were all well done - I’m talking cardboard well done. Granted it’s not a steak house, if there are several meat options available you expect that the chef is able to prepare them properly. Manager eventually came out and offered a 10% discount and new meals to which we declined after already waiting two hours. Absolute gong show. Had high hopes for this cute little spot but will not be coming back.

I had the fortune of stopping by The Inn on Sunday. What a fantastic team. They took great care of me, served me a perfectly cooked steak, and kept me glass full. Not to mention the stunning dining room, what a treat. I'll be back in a heartbeat for more great food, fantastic drinks, and service that was a cut above.

We would like to share our experience at the Inn on Officers Garden on March 3, 2023. This was the exact date of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. To start off, the staff gave us a warm welcome and the lovely evening began. We were seated in the private Wine Room off the pub area. This room has a lovely ambiance and the entire evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all, including immediate family (grandchildren included), family from out of town and friends. All had nothing but high praise for facility, staff and food. All staff, especially our server Liz, were very attentive and accommodating. The menu catered to all palates and came out well presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all.The entire evening was a very memorable one.Also would like to mention the lovely boutique rooms at Officers Inn. Family members stayed there for two nights and could not believe the wonderful warm, cozy atmosphere and decor.

Went here on a Tuesday evening in May for dinner and it was a lovely time. I enjoyed the scallop gnocchi a lot and the boar sausage pasta was also a hit. Our server (I think his name was Bobby) was very friendly and helpful and because it was a slow evening he even gave us a quick tour of the different dining areas. He knew a lot about the building and it was interesting to hear! I love that this place is so multifaceted and that it owns its history.

Never again! Came for a early dinner with my family so we could beat the rush. When we got there the place was pretty much empty. There was 10 of us. We have two young children so we don’t have the luxury to wait a long time for our dinner to be served. It took 1.5 hours for the food! The majority of us ordered the steak and frites. We all ordered them medium rare. When the food arrived 1.5 hours later they all showed up cooked well done. They offered to cook new steaks but we didn’t want to wait another hour for new steaks. If you want a faster and better tasting meal go to McDonald’s. Seriously. Haha.

We recently had our wedding at The Inn on Officers Garden, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful, with natural surroundings that made for a perfect backdrop for our special day. The space was so naturally wonderful that we barely had to decorate, and the atmosphere was just perfect for our celebration.But what really made our wedding day unforgettable was the incredible food provided. The catering team went above and beyond to create a delicious menu that exceeded all our expectations. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, every dish was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious.AND I could cry! The cake was so beautiful! It was one of our most favourite parts!Overall, we couldn't recommend The Inn on Officers Garden more highly. If you're looking for a stunning venue with delicious food and impeccable service, you won't find a better option than this. Thank you again to the entire team for making our wedding day so special and unforgettable!

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was small but nicely renovated. We could not get the temperature to regulate properly, nor could we cast movies onto the TV (issue with the remote control) Breakfast and dinner were very nice. Lots of construction nearby. The have a nice patio and garden to sit and relax. I also love the old-time photos.

We stopped by for a bite to eat on a whim. The hostess was amazing! She provided a quick historical tour of the facility as we were shown our seats. The food was really good but our diner server was absent for most of the meal. Definitely try this place out! Hopefully you will have an attentive server.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in the Queen Elizabeth Suite and it was amazing! The design of the suite was lovely, spacious and had everything one could want during an overnight stay. The Manager Antoun and his entire team were amazing! They were more than attentive and we enjoyed the opportunity to have a espresso and fresh baked treats from the coffee shop/bistro. We also had a delicious breakfast in the main dining room. The location, ambience, food and outstanding team make this a place to visit again!
