We hired Aaron to add to our existing fence and make a gate for our dog. The quality of the resulting work is excellent and exceeded our expectations, and Aaron was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Westwood Carpentry built us a beautiful multi-level deck, complete with walkway around one side of our house, several sets of stairs, and a shed. We were extremely happy with the design/build process and the end product.Aaron is very professional, friendly, and personable. When we initially met with him to get a quote, he listened to everything we had to say, asked insightful questions, and provided some suggestions. He provided us with a timely quote and recommendations and was amenable to any changes we wanted to make. We were very pleased with what Aaron suggested and once we signed the paperwork, Aaron started immediately.Throughout the process, Aaron demonstrated strong attention to detail and creativity in both the design and build phases. When he encountered a challenge, he would immediately speak with us and offer solutions before moving ahead. We were always happy with what Aaron recommended.We did encounter some delays due to permits, supply delivery, and weather, but Aaron demonstrated his work ethic and commitment to our project by working longer days and on weekends to ensure we weren’t too far behind schedule.The final project was solidly built and will last a long time. This reflects Aaron’s strong planning skills, his attention to detail and overall great workmanship. In addition, Aaron is extremely considerate and was respectful of household privacy during the construction period.We would enthusiastically recommend Westwood Carpentry and are looking forward to enjoying our deck and shed for years to come!
